December 22, 20159 yr Author #8: Ellie Goulding - Delirium Songs: 16 (standard) / 22 (deluxe) Favourite track: Love Me Like You Do Other memorable tracks: Army, Keep On Dancin', Outside, On My Mind, Lost And Found, Something In The Way You Move, Aftertaste, Scream It Out In eighth we have Ellie Goulding with the album Delirium. The album was highly anticipated by this forum, unfortunately On My Mind wasn't quite as good as I had hoped (it's still good though). While the highest anything from the album (apart from Love Me Like You Do) is #12 by Army (which has a run of 59-18-12-19-27-32..., so is going back down quite fast), and that I can't say anything except Love Me Like You Do is amazing, there are some good tracks on here, although there are also some forgettable ones.
December 22, 20159 yr Author #7: Electric Light Orchestra/Jeff Lynne's ELO - Alone In The Universe Songs: 10 Favourite track: When I Was A Boy Other memorable tracks: When The Night Comes, One Step At A Time, Alone In The Universe At #7 we have the Electric Light Orchestra, a band who have been around since 1970. Although there are one or two forgettable tracks on there, it is a very good album, although it is (obviously) nowhere the near-perfection of Out Of The Blue, which is currently my fifth favourite album of all-time behind James Blunt's Back To Bedlam, Ella Henderson's Chapter One, David Gray's Life In Slow Motion, and .............'. .............
December 22, 20159 yr Author #6: Coldplay - A Head Full Of Dreams Songs: 11 Favourite track: Adventure Of A Lifetime Other memorable tracks: Hymn For The Weekend, Everglow, A Head Full Of Dreams, Fun, Birds The most recent album here, A Head Full Of Dreams ran into 25 and broke Coldplay's number one album streak. For me, the album is one of two halves, the first six tracks, from the title track to their Tove Lo collaboration Fun (at least one song with that name is good) are all great, while the rest if kinda lacklustre. The first six tracks more than make up for that, and so A Head Full Of Dreams ends up in sixth place.
December 22, 20159 yr Author #5: Florence + The Machine - How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful Songs: 11 (standard) / 16 (deluxe) Favourite track: What Kind Of Man Other memorable tracks: Queen Of Peace, Ship To Wreck, Hiding, Various Storms & Saints, How Big How Blue How Beautiful, Delilah, St. Jude, Mother In fifth place we have Florence + The Machine with How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful. The era started off with a bang called What Kind Of Man, which will be appearing quite high in the main event. The great songs continued coming with the title track and Ship To Wreck, while Delilah was also very good. Once the album came out, Various Storms & Saints and Hiding both impressed me, but the best song on the album which hadn't been unveiled before was the epic Queen Of Peace. A very good album indeed.
December 22, 20159 yr Author #4: Sigma - Life Songs: 13 (standard) / 20 (deluxe) Favourite track: Glitterball Other memorable tracks: Changing, Coming Home, Nobody To Love, Redemption, Good Times, Higher, Broken Promises, Lost Away, Slow Down At #4 we have the gem-packed Life by Sigma, who have yet to put a single foot wrong in any song they have made. Whether it's making something excellent out of Kanye West's horrific Bound 2, classics such as Changing and Coming Home, works with other dance music greats like Good Times (Sigala) or Redemption (Diztortion) , even their slight blip in quality, Higher, is in my top 200 of the year. Of course, with the glorious vocals of Ella Henderson, Glitterball has to be the best track on the album. Edited December 22, 20159 yr by Taylor Jago
December 22, 20159 yr Ellie  Coldplay  Sigma  Florence  all really good :cheer:
December 24, 20159 yr Author #3: Ella Eyre - Feline Songs: 14 (standard) / 18 (deluxe) Favourite track: Together Other notable tracks: Comeback, Gravity, Good Times, Even If, Always, If I Go, Alone Too, Home, Typical Me, We Don't Have To Take Our Clothes Off In third place we have the hideously underrated Feline by Ella Eyre, who sadly doesn't seem to be able to get a break these days :( With the expection of her two features on Waiting All Night and Gravity, not one of her tracks has gone top 10, despite Comeback and Together being absolutely amazing. I fear this could be her only album, which is a shame because it's a really good one.
December 24, 20159 yr Ella Eyre :cheer: Comeback, Together, All About You, Good Times, If I Go, Even If, Deeper are all outstanding
December 24, 20159 yr Author #2: Little Mix - Get Weird http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/61MZ0xgJpgL._SY300_.jpg Songs: 12 (standard) / 16 (deluxe) Favourite track: Black Magic Other memorable tracks: Love Me Like You, Weird People, Secret Love Song, Love Me Or Leave Me, Secret Love Song Pt II, I Love You, Lightning, Hair, A.D.I.D.A.S., OMG, I Won't, Clued Up Little Mix finish in the runner-up spot for the second album running with the excellent Get Weird. With the future classic Black Magic, the fantastic Love Me Like You, the lost 80s number Weird People, the beautiful ballad Secret Love Song, the heart-wrenching Love Me Or Leave Me, the soft and melodic I Love You, the catchy A.D.I.D.A.S. and the sassy OMG, this album has it all. Unfortunately, while it is more than worthy of best album of the year, it ran into some even better competition.
December 24, 20159 yr Author #1: Years & Years - Communion http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/71aBgoVRQHL._SY355_.jpg Songs: 13 (standard) / 17 (deluxe) Favourite track: King Other memorable tracks: Shine, Desire, Ties, Memo, Eyes Shut, Worship, I Want To Love, Real, Foundation, Border, Take Shelter And the prize for best album of the year goes for Years & Years with Communion! This trio first caught my attention with Desire (I know Sunlight charted before but that was kinda meh) which reached #4 on my personal chart. Then, building on that, they released King, which currently sits at #18 on my personal chart as of this week. Worship and Eyes Shut were unveiled as instant grats, while Shine was an instant #1 and currently sits at #22 on my personal chart as of this week, and Foundation was also a success (and a very good album opener). Following the release of the album, I listened to it (several times) with the clear standouts being Ties, Memo, I Want To Love, Real, Border and Take Shelter. With 12 tracks making my personal chart top 50 (four others made the top 75 and 1977 got to #77), the album still being listened to 5 months on, it is clear that Communion is my favourite album of 2015 by quite some distance.
December 24, 20159 yr I see you not liking a few of the Stories tracks but it's still great to see it at #14 :cheer: my favourite album of the year unsurprisingly. Really enjoyed Delirium :music: I am not what you call a stan but this album definitely made me see the light in her music even more :o I should get around to listening to her older albums again in case I grow to them :D (Codes not in your memorable tracks though? :( ) Enjoyed Life also  Ella Eyre's album is ok but it's really the singles that hit me. Little Mix did a similar thing to Ellie with Get Weird :cheer: in the way that their previous albums didn't really get my attention but I really liked most of the tracks on this one :D Enjoyed Communion too :D
December 25, 20159 yr Feline! Incredible album I agree one of only three albums I bought this year. Sigma's Life was pretty strong too, when you splash out 5 or 6 singles before the album you have to expect a good offering. Delirium another highlight of mine, really quite up there and not lower in quality than her first two.
December 26, 20159 yr Author #20: Nathan Sykes - Over And Over Again 7eiv5aElMZs At #20 we have Nathan Sykes with the brilliant video for Over And Over Again. Here we see the various stages of their relationship, from the day they first met, to their various dates, to the proposal, to their first child, until his eventual death, regularly cut by the older version of his wife painting these moments. A simple, perhaps clichéd concept, but it's pulled off to perfection here.
December 26, 20159 yr Author #19: Galantis - Peanut Butter Jelly 4jBDnYE1WjI Two words: wonderfully weird. This is one of the wackiest things I have ever seen, but that's what makes it so great. This video is simply a bundle of joy, not unlike the song, and it definitely makes a trip to the supermarket look much more fun than they actually are. One thing's for sure, this won't happen in your local ASDA/Tesco/Morrisons/Sainsbury's/Lidl/Waitrose or other. Whether that's a bad thing is up to you to decide.
December 26, 20159 yr Author :lame: #10: The Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Choir - A Bridge Over You T8qHXlShfUQ This has got to be one of the most boring videos ever made. It simply shows what the NHS does, and the people responsible for this thing singing it. It's a tedious mess.
December 26, 20159 yr Author #18: Kygo feat. Parson James - Stole The Show BgfcToAjfdc At #18 we have Kygo with the visually impressive and interesting storyed video for Stole The Show. The tale of these two astronauts, or whatever they are, is really interesting. Very good video.
December 26, 20159 yr Author #17: Jason Derulo - Cheyenne nNi0gyO41VQ Jason Derulo hasn't got a particularly good videography, with most of them being quite basic (and you don't need to look very far back to realise this). He bucked this trend in style with the fantastic Cheyenne video, which was well-executed, spooky, and included a very good zombie dance in a possible homage to Thriller. It helps that the song is return to form after quite a few duds.
December 26, 20159 yr Author :lame: #9: One Direction - Drag Me Down Jwgf3wmiA04 Returning to the bad ones, in ninth worst we have One Direction at the NASA! Here all we see is them singing the track on the base and them in a rocket. Boring.
December 26, 20159 yr Adore stole the Show, Cheyenne is great but not his best, deserved much better than its chart peak though! PBJ is so funky :funky: I don't really enjoy DMD either and not heard NHS but I don't have any interest in going to and it stopped Bieber staying at #1
