G.R.L - Lighthouse [Chart Peak #03] 70. Selena Gomez - Hands To Myself [Chart Peak #08] 8nyeIXR87c4 Finishing at #70 is the incredible, sexy Selena Gomez with her first of three entries. 'Hands To Myself' is an incredibly sexy song and it's something that I can see doing incredibly well around the charts worldwide, if only they uploaded the god damn video to her official youtube. While I can discuss how the song has grown on me an incredible amount, I would like to say in the video Selena has never looked hotter. Now that time has progressed, I don't think 'Lighthouse' was as good as I originally thought. I believe like others that the song sounded incredible mainly due to what the song was about and I'm not surprised that Capital decided not to support the girls following the success of 'Ugly Heart' which was one of the biggest bops of 2014. The middle 8 will ALWAYS provide me with chills "I'll light it up, show you the way". At #68 we have the next single from Ellie's recent album which has not performed as well as expected but I'm not surprised when she led the campaign with 'On My Mind' when she had 'Something In The Way You Move' which NEEDED to be single #2 at least. 'Army' is a beautiful pop ballad which Ellie manages to nail live and is fantastic at showcasing her vocals and she can actually sing. "When I'm with you, I'm standing with an army" which I'm sure a lot of people can relate to. Poor Nicki, the only song that was supported by Radio 1 was 'The Night Is Still Young' where she actually scheduled UK promo on the live lounge and Alan Carr only to cancel it in the last minute which resulted in the song being dropped and the song itself underperforming. I can see why a lot of people are not a fan of 'The Night Is Still Young' but I love it and it's the pop side of Nicki that I need. The chorus is seen as lazy but it's what makes me love the song even more. At #66 we have the over exposed 'Sax' which I to this date still think it's an incredible pop song, I'm guessing it's the Ryan impact as to why it's 66 because If I had done this two weeks later, 'Sax' would be much lower. December 30, 20159 yr Amazing to see sax and lighthouse here, both easily 2 of my favourites of 2015
December 30, 20159 yr Hi Lee, The recent Section I love; 66. Fleur East - Sax [Chart Peak #11]67. Nicki Minaj - The Night Is Still Young [Chart Peak #08] 68. Ellie Goulding - Army [Chart Peak #10] 70. Selena Gomez - Hands To Myself [Chart Peak #08] Sax - Love this but getting off it not going to lie :D The Night Is Still Young - Should have done something although Truffle Butter >>>>> Army - LOVE this even though not fave on the album still love it :D Hands To Myself - Cant beat a sultry jam tbh
December 30, 20159 yr I agree with what you said about Lighthouse, I think people got very caught up in the sentiment and without it's a very bland ballad.
December 31, 20159 yr Author UlFMVzo9zuE 61. Alexandra Stan & Inna - We Wanna [Chart Peak #10] 62. Zara Larsson - Uncover [Chart Peak #03] 63. Carly Rae Jepsen - Your Type [Chart Peak #11] 64. Years & Years - Gold [Chart Peak #12] 65. Robin Schulz Feat Jasmine Thompson - When The Sun Goes Down [Chart Peak #10] Missing the top 50 is the incredible generic pop bop by one hit wonder queens Alexandra Stan & Inna. I'll always be surprised that 'We Wanna' was not sent to UK radio because it seems like a song that Capital would ejaculate multiple times over. I can't fault this song and I'm actually faulting myself for only positioning it at #61 which again emphasises how strong the music has been in 2015. We Wanna love with the lights down low from Argentina to Morocco. Despite charting in 2013 in my official charts, 'Uncover' continues to remain in the EOY through it's ongoing popularity. I've always stanned for Zara Larsson and I'm delightful to see her being appreciated and being adored by the public. 'Uncover' has managed to remain top 800 on iTunes for the last two months and it wouldn't surprise me if it's the final single pushed in the UK before her next era, hopefully they also promote 'Carry You Home'. My biggest concern is that Zara will end up like Tove and mess up their entire campaign through a poor single choice / badly time releases. Finishing at #63 is 'Your Type' but Carly Rae Jepsen. 'Your Type' is one of the four songs in the countdown with 'Emotion' already being announced previously. 'Your Type' in the last month has immensely grown on me and the video itself may not have the biggest budget but it's one of the best videos of 2015 due to the story it tells. 'Your Type' shows the struggle Carly has had in becoming a worldwide A-Lister and how she's only performing infront of small audiences despite her imagining she would be performing infront of thousands. 'Gold' surprisingly finishes as low as #64 despite being one of my favourite tracks from June - August. 'Gold' is also used on the FIFA soundtrack which has helped me appreciate the song as a whole. I'm hopeful that 'Gold' will be the final single from Communion as I'm sure that it is the only track that will go top 40 from the album. Edited December 31, 20159 yr by TheGrinch

December 31, 20159 yr 71. Elliphant - Love Me Badder [Chart Peak #16] 72. Kelly Clarkson – Heartbeat Song [Chart Peak #04] 73. Lost Frequencies – Are You With Me [Chart peak #04] 74. Avicii - The Nights [Chart Peak #09] 75. Rihanna - American Oxygen [Chart Peak #14] 9xVo92yWNHM Firstly, I would like to thank Silas for introducing me to the song at #71 'Love Me Badder' I hadn't heard it until I heard he attempted to send it to BJSC, I'm guessing that's the most contribution to a forum that he's made in the last 12 months? But you know when you think you hear a winner you've just GOT to send Haha lovin dat shayyyyyde!!
January 10, 20169 yr Author 56. Taylor Swift - Bad Blood [Chart Peak #03] 57. Sia - Elastic Heart [Chart Peak #04] 58. Meghan Trainor - Lips R Moving [Chart Peak #03] 59. Ellie Goulding - Holding On For Life [Chart Peak #10] 60. Coldplay - Adventure Of A Lifetime [Chart Peak #13] QcIy9NiNbmo "Did you have to do this, I could be thinking you could be trusted. Did you have to ruin what was shiny and now it's rusty". I couldn't think of a better opening line to verse one, 'Bad Blood' original is far superior to the Kendrick Lamar remix and once you remove the Katy Perry connotations, you realise how great the lyrics to 'Bad Blood' is. 'Bad Blood' is an anthem that you would sing to people you despise. Trust me, I do. Finishing at #57 is 'Elastic Heart', I'll happily admit that I do like Sia's music however It amuses me that she's releasing an album full of rejects, I wouldn't have made it known that her new album is full of rejects, why charge the public for songs that other artists never want? Anyway... I hope she bombs with her new material and judging by her performance on iTunes, she will. Queen Meghan has two songs remaining in the countdown in 'Marvin Gaye' and 'Dear Future Husband'. I can understand why the public could dislike Meghan but you can't deny how huge 2015 has been for her. Minus the weird Radio 1 snub of 'Dear Future Husband' and 'Like I'm Gonna Lose You', Meghan has slayed the airplay and the official charts. Meghan will be releasing her new album 'Thank You' next year, expect smashes left right and center.
January 10, 20169 yr Hi Lee great countdown so far! We Wanna - what a gem that was. Look forward to your top 50 :)
January 11, 20169 yr Author 51. Ellie Goulding - Something In The Way You Move 52. Alesso Feat Tove Lo - Heroes 53. Zara Larsson - Carry You Home 54. Rita Ora & Sigma - Coming Home 55. David Guetta & Emeli Sande - What I Did For Love BBxjC9w_Cj0 "But tonight I'm going to lose it all, playing with the fire - I was the first to fall". Ellie's voice during that lyric is nothing short of delightful and I'm ecsatic to see that 'Something In The Way You Move' is being pushed as a second single throughout Europe and US. I'm positive that it will be single four in the UK and it needs to be single four. 'Something In The Way You Move' is easily the best song on her new album just beating 'Holding On For Life' and 'Army'. 'On My Mind' was such an atrocious lead single choice and despite growing to like it, I eventually got bored of it again. One of the final two Tove Lo songs is her feature with Alesso on 'Heroes'. I instantly loved this and knew it could continue to help push Tove as the biggest swedish star in the UK following the success of 'Habits'. Queen Zara will obviously become the most relevant Swed of all time in the United Kingdom as 'Lush Life' will hopefully manage to go top 3 which is something 'Never Forget You' somehow never manage and something Tove will never manage. Speaking of Zara in #53 we have an old track in 'Carry You Home' which has continued to have success in my charts. 'Carry You Home' is an upbeat pop anthem and could have been a worldwide smash. I'm loving the amount of success incoming for Zara and it's undeniable that her first international release album will be absolutely incredible. Even having Emeli Sande in my chart countdown makes me feel rather sad but there's no denying that 'What I Did For Love' is an absolute immense tune, I believe that it's exposure on Eastenders allowed me to care for the song a little bit more. January 11, 20169 yr Author Army is already single 3! What a mess, I mean single four! I knew 'Army' was the next single, I'm hoping that 'Something In The Way You Move' is the next single and 'Holding On For Life' before the expected re-release.
January 12, 20169 yr Author 46. David Guetta Feat Nicki Minaj & Afrojack - Hey Mama [Chart Peak #05] 47. Olly Murs Feat Demi Lovato - Up [Chart Peak #01] 48. Taylor Swift - Wildest Dreams [Chart Peak #01] 49. Fifth Harmony - BO$$ [Chart Peak #03] 50. The Saturdays Feat Sean Paul - What About Us [Chart peak #01] vH-sqgv9RLQ Finishing at #46 is a song that makes you state that you do the cleaning and you do the cooking. 'Hey Mama' was a worldwide smash and it doesn't surprise me one single bit. I was confused by the 'Hey Mama' release as it was released during the period when Nicki was attempting to get away from Pop by focusing on her R&B roots. Another song that was released in 2014 is the incredible 'Up', I immediately loved 'Up' and I knew it would be a smash upon listening to it. It was interesting to see Olly putting the Ella Eyre version on his deluxe album which makes me believe that 'Up' was intentionally meant for Ella as Olly claimed that Simon wanted Demi as the collaborator and he wanted somebody else. Once I heard 'Wildest Dreams' was a single, I couldn't have been more happier, the song was beautiful and something special, however within a month I started to grow tired of the single which is why It only spent one week in my top 10 which was #1. 'Wildest Dreams' had a bigger fall than 'Figure 8' from number one as it's chart run was [01-14-26-x-23-25-x] which is one of the most disappointing chart runs for a number one single in my chart which can usually be described as a billboard. Everyday is payday, I swipe my card and I do the nae-nae. Fifth Harmony state "C O N F I D E N T, that's me I'm confident". This is something I can relate to, the song is incredibly sassy and the song itself became one of my favourites following the overplay on Plug and the song itself made me find myself being able to relate to Froot, it can be said that Fifth Harmony helped us relate. Did we all seriously expect a chart without my chart queens The Saturdays themselves? It's true this year we have no Pixie Lott and no Nicole Scherzinger but 'What About Us' has still somehow managed to be in my top 50 played songs of 2015. 'What About Us' brings myself nothing but fond and delightful memories, the single managed to break records and debut at #1 with 114,000 sales. It would have been interesting to see how 'What About Us' would have held up if streaming was included, I'm sure it would have managed at least 5 extra weeks in the top 40? It's a great shame that the pre-order for 'Living For The Weekend' wasn't available following 'What About Us' considering how much Gentleman bombed.
February 1, 20169 yr Author 41. Snakehips Feat Tinashe - All My Friends [Chart Peak #08] 42. Rihanna - Bitch Better Have My Money [Chart Peak #08] 43. Becky G - Lovin So Hard [Chart Peak #03] 44. Hailee Steinfield - Love Myself [Chart Peak #01] 45. Meghan Trainor - Dear Future Husband [Chart Peak #04] I3mrYxPLSH4 Almost one month later, we are finally going to complete the much anticipated Lee Wallace chart countdown. Finishing at #45 is the ever so marmeeet Meghan Trainor who produced 'Dance With Me Tonight' part two which failed to bother me as I love 'Dance With Me Tonight', I remember stanning hard over 'Dear Future Husband' while getting incredibly frustrated that Radio 1 decided to snub 'Dear Future Husband', hopefully she gets announced as a guest performer at the Brits and wins best international female because she deserves it. Who would have thought she would be so HUGE :kink: following 'All About The Bass' This is indeed the Ryan impact, 'Love Myselff' is such a euphoric pop anthem that provides nothing but joy to myself, the chorus is huge and is something you want to shout, " I LOVE ME", I feel like 'Love Myself' is a song that I can dedicate to myself and continue to love. 'Love Myself' never done anything major in the UK Charts but that doesn't take away that it was indeed a surprise smash worldwide. Poor Becky G, she'll never be supported by any radio and will only have one hit to her solo career with 'Shower'. 'Lovin So Hard' was a disappointing flop worldwide but nothing in comparison to 'Can't Stop Dancing'. 'Lovin So Hard' is a beautiful midtempo track that is uplifting yet related due to it's emotional connotations. At #42 we have Bitch did provide an album, ANTI was finally dropped, unfortunately the release has been an epic mess due to Tidal. Tidal is such a massive inconvience in all of our lives and the sooner that artists agree that it's a massive flop they can begin selling more.
