Next we have a #1 from September with a heavy sample of The Jackson 5's 'ABC'. This was such a terrific tune from him and a great debut single.

DAVID GUETTA FT NICKI MINAJ & AFROJACK- HEY MAMA

#4

Next it is a offering from David Guetta which featured Nicki Minaj and Afrojack. It peaked at #4 in MayFor some reason the music video does remind me of the film 'Mad Max'. This was all about Nicki Minaj one of my favourite femal rappers at the moment.

IGGY AZALEA FT JENNIFER HUDSON- TROUBLE

#2

At #28. We have Iggy Azalea featuring Jennifer Hudson with 'Trouble' which peaked at #2 in May. A great feature from Jennifer Hudson here which got to #8 in the UK and got her that deserved Top10 hit and sees her in the music video dressed as a police officer and then arrested Iggy at the end. Decent tune this was.

NICK JONAS- JEALOUS

#4

140PTS

At #27. It is Nick Jonas with the fine 'Jealous'. Easily the best thing he has done after that slightly cheesy band with his brothers. This spent 4 weeks in a row stalling at #4 in April/May. This does have a catchy feel to it. His next song 'Levels' which didn't make the UK Top40 is something that I still don't get when 'Burnin Up' got to #30 back in October 2008. That wasn't great. But 'Jealous' and 'Levels' completely betters that.

ED SHEERAN X RUDIMENTAL- BLOODSTREAM

#1

Great collabroation this from Ed Sheeran and Rudimental. This spent 2 weeks at #1.

The last four are all good songs, even if Trouble got boring very quickly.

Jealous was certainly one of the most surprising tunes of the year. Was not expecting to like a song from him.

Great to see Sweet Loving so high  Hey Mama's good but very far from Guetta's best standards.

Not huge on 'On My Mind' but loving 'Do It Again', 'Blank Space', 'The Hills', 'Easy Love' and more! Good set of songs so far ~

Thank you for commenting, Haus :)

Haven't really listened to 'Trouble' recently to be honest with you. 'Jealous' was one of the surprising tunes of the year very much superior compared to the other songs Nick Jonas has been involved in.

Another great section of songs there espically Nick Jonas *.*

Thanks for commenting, Harry. :)

The song that give The Weeknd his first mainstream success in the UK thanks to this being on the soundtrack to the afromentioned erotic thriller. And also the second song from a erotic thriller to feature in this countdown. Before that he was underrated whose biggest hit in this chart was featuring with Drake on 'Crew Love' which got to #26 back in 2012. A pretty good song this from him.

PHILIP GEORGE- WISH YOU WERE MINE

#1

This #1 from January which spent 5 weeks in the Top5 and then had a quite a drop of 11 places from #5. This an early year deep house tune.

Do you mean 'Easy Love'?

 yes I did! :heehee:

Loving Runaway and WYWM is great. Bad Blood's good but my least fave from the current era.

Hi Mack :D Lots of great songs so far, particularly loving Trouble. So much sass, packed with killer vocals from J-Hud and great raps from Iggy. Keep up the great countdown!

Bad Blood, Earned It and to a lesser extent Runaway are some of my favourite song of 2015.

Earned It was a brilliant way for The Weeknd to breakout so massive. The most smooth song of the year.
