January 5, 20169 yr Author 30TH: SIGALA- EASY LOVE #1 140PTS ozx898ADTxM Next we have a #1 from September with a heavy sample of The Jackson 5's 'ABC'. This was such a terrific tune from him and a great debut single.
January 6, 20169 yr Author 29TH: DAVID GUETTA FT NICKI MINAJ & AFROJACK- HEY MAMA #4 140PTS uO59tfQ2TbA Next it is a offering from David Guetta which featured Nicki Minaj and Afrojack. It peaked at #4 in MayFor some reason the music video does remind me of the film 'Mad Max'. This was all about Nicki Minaj one of my favourite femal rappers at the moment.
January 6, 20169 yr Author 28TH: IGGY AZALEA FT JENNIFER HUDSON- TROUBLE #2 140PTS UGLx4zzMdRA At #28. We have Iggy Azalea featuring Jennifer Hudson with 'Trouble' which peaked at #2 in May. A great feature from Jennifer Hudson here which got to #8 in the UK and got her that deserved Top10 hit and sees her in the music video dressed as a police officer and then arrested Iggy at the end. Decent tune this was.
January 6, 20169 yr Author 27TH: NICK JONAS- JEALOUS #4 140PTS yw04QD1LaB0 At #27. It is Nick Jonas with the fine 'Jealous'. Easily the best thing he has done after that slightly cheesy band with his brothers. This spent 4 weeks in a row stalling at #4 in April/May. This does have a catchy feel to it. His next song 'Levels' which didn't make the UK Top40 is something that I still don't get when 'Burnin Up' got to #30 back in October 2008. That wasn't great. But 'Jealous' and 'Levels' completely betters that.
January 6, 20169 yr Author 26TH: ED SHEERAN X RUDIMENTAL- BLOODSTREAM #1 140PTS Orq_75kFi8I Great collabroation this from Ed Sheeran and Rudimental. This spent 2 weeks at #1.
January 6, 20169 yr Not huge on 'On My Mind' but loving 'Do It Again', 'Blank Space', 'The Hills', 'Easy Love' and more! Good set of songs so far ~
January 7, 20169 yr The last four are all good songs, even if Trouble got boring very quickly. Jealous was certainly one of the most surprising tunes of the year. Was not expecting to like a song from him.
January 7, 20169 yr Great to see Sweet Loving so high  Hey Mama's good but very far from Guetta's best standards.
January 7, 20169 yr Author Not huge on 'On My Mind' but loving 'Do It Again', 'Blank Space', 'The Hills', 'Easy Love' and more! Good set of songs so far ~ Thank you for commenting, Haus :) The last four are all good songs, even if Trouble got boring very quickly. Jealous was certainly one of the most surprising tunes of the year. Was not expecting to like a song from him. Haven't really listened to 'Trouble' recently to be honest with you. 'Jealous' was one of the surprising tunes of the year very much superior compared to the other songs Nick Jonas has been involved in. Thanks for commenting, :) Another great section of songs there espically Nick Jonas *.* Thanks for commenting, Harry. :) Great to see Sweet Loving so high  Hey Mama's good but very far from Guetta's best standards. Do you mean 'Easy Love'? Thanks for commenting, :)
January 7, 20169 yr Author 25TH: TAYLOR SWIFT FT KENDRICK LAMAR- BAD BLOOD #2 148PTS QcIy9NiNbmo An second and final apperance for Taylor Swift in this countdown with 'Bad Blood' with a great feature from Kendrick Lamar and a superstar music video which featured cameos from Ellie Goulding, Hayley Williams, Jessica Alba and many more
January 7, 20169 yr Author 24TH: GALANTIS- RUNAWAY (U & I) #2 148PTS 5XR7naZ_zZA Another apperance in this countdown for Galantis with this tune which peaked at #2 twice in June here.
January 7, 20169 yr Author 23RD: THE WEEKND- EARNED IT (FIFTY SHADES OF GREY) #1 152PTS waU75jdUnYw The song that give The Weeknd his first mainstream success in the UK thanks to this being on the soundtrack to the afromentioned erotic thriller. And also the second song from a erotic thriller to feature in this countdown. Before that he was underrated whose biggest hit in this chart was featuring with Drake on 'Crew Love' which got to #26 back in 2012. A pretty good song this from him.
January 7, 20169 yr Author 22ND: PHILIP GEORGE- WISH YOU WERE MINE #1 152PTS d7ypnPjz81I This #1 from January which spent 5 weeks in the Top5 and then had a quite a drop of 11 places from #5. This an early year deep house tune.
January 8, 20169 yr Do you mean 'Easy Love'? yes I did! :heehee: Loving Runaway and WYWM is great. Bad Blood's good but my least fave from the current era.
January 9, 20169 yr Hi Mack :D Lots of great songs so far, particularly loving Trouble. So much sass, packed with killer vocals from J-Hud and great raps from Iggy. Keep up the great countdown!
January 9, 20169 yr Bad Blood, Earned It and to a lesser extent Runaway are some of my favourite song of 2015. Earned It was a brilliant way for The Weeknd to breakout so massive. The most smooth song of the year.
