Great to see Stevie Knows out. One of the most annoying songs of recent times.

Has Olly Murs killed his career doing so badly on X Factor? I feel like he's a bit of a laughing stock now.

You can't come to that judgement over one naff song.

When was this added? Martin Solveig feat. Sam White - +1 :o

The last couple of weeks the playlist was a mess

Hello and Sorry really ought to go. Jack Garratt, Coldplay and James Bay have all had their time too. Oops at 5SOS off after only a week on the A-list.

I've not actually heard any of the new entries bar Foxes, but yay for that I guess. Was hoping for SLS, but I have no doubt that it'll be added soon.

I'm very disappointed that Jet Black Heart has left after one week, when the awful Hey Everybody stayed on the playlist for so long. Jet Black Heart is their very best.

Hello and Sorry really need to go...Having Love Yourself on just the C list this far into its chart domination is just a bit silly at this point. Move on!

Little Mix will be playlisted no matter what, and probably with 5+ weeks on the A list, so I wouldn't worry.

Exactly. I mean I love 'Stevie Knows' and can't understand all the scath for it (I'd take it in a heartbeat over 'Up', which was a good song that with any other female besides Demi Lovato on it wouldn't have turned into the sub 'Broken Strings' squib it became), but as has been pointed out 'Kiss Me' did really well without even going top 10, the repack of the album likewise did well too.

Sure the press have been negative to/about him in recent times but I rather feel, with some time passed since X Factor ended he and Caroline were being used as targets because the press almost wanted the series just gone to fail simply because he's not Dermot O'Leary and because Louis Walsh wasn't sat on the panel again like some mad geriatric seal. It's only hosting a bloody TV show and he did great for his first time. Everyone makes mistakes, if that was the case old Pip Schofield wouldn't be on This Morning still (or Holly Willoughby for that matter. Love those two!)

I think Radio 1 supported all Daughter singles (Home, Still, Human, Amsterdam) from their debut album... so surprised they're suddenly INMWT instead of a regular C-list... not complaining cos I really thought they were gonna pass... even if Numbers is an amazing song!!!

We do live in an age where one flop single can make make radio hostile towards you and reluctant to play you, especially for a pop act but I don't see it being a problem for him as his profile is fine and it's from a high selling album. It's pretty much like 'Beautiful To Me' didn't really affect anything.

Not just basing it off one song. The song was always going to flop because it's crap. Just asking in general, has Olly damaged his reputation massively with XF? I think he has.

I don't see any evidence of his reputation being damaged...

I do think Olly's star has probably faded from where it was a couple of years ago, but I don't think that's necessarily from the X Factor, it more people tiring of him. It's a shame because Kiss Me has been my favourite single from him.
Pleasantly surprised to see Foxes on the playlist. I think this will be make or break though - if this or Devil Side don't make any sort of impact, I think that'll be it for her on Radio 1. But I thought that when Better Love was added, so who knows?
Never heard of DMA's before, sounds fresh out of the 1997 Britpop also-ran collection.

^^ Pretty much agree with that entire post.

'Jet Black Heart' is probably their best single for me, really strange to see it get a C-B-A-out run, I can't recall ever seeing a song have that playlist run before

I don't know why people are surprised to still see 'Hello' playlisted, R1 love to latch on to huge songs and keep them playlisted for weeks on end (see 'Sing', 'Thinking Out Loud', LMLYD etc.) However, 'Love Yourself' being on the C-list for a 5th week in a row is just silly, why not just move it up, even if they don't wanna take 'Sorry' off yet.

I'm pretty certain that Little Mix will be added next week.

I didn't think the playlist was updated at all over Xmas so was surprised to see this too. Just a shame that it wasn't already playlisted when it surprisingly climbed into the iTunes Top 40 for a few days or so a few weeks back.

This is its third week playlisted. It says in both previous playlist threads.

It's easy to find out when something was playlisted here: www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=184305

When is the impact date scheduled for 'Secret Love Song'?

We seem to be less and less aware of impact dates these days. I actually wonder whether all songs even have impact dates any more!
