Gaga's alter-ego was shocking, random but not really meant to be taken too seriously guise that emphasised the need for the artist to ~perform~. As he dived in for a kiss with Britney (who rejected lamfooo) and stole the spotlight with a performance of You & I to open the ceremony, did you love the idea, find it half-baked or hate it completely? On the night, Gaga's 'Born This Way' won the awards for 'Best Video' and 'Best Video With A Message' on the night. We also saw Jo in the single cover artwork for You & I and he went on to be a much loved fan favourite guise for Gaga.
