Sean Kingston for me too, although Rihanna was close earlier that year - her born February 1988, me September 1988. If Beautiful Girls hadn't hit #1 then When You Believe would have done it as Leon Jackson's a couple months younger than me.

Shawn Mendes was born a few weeks before my tenth birthday, which is kinda terrifying. Although not as much as if Willow Smith had got to #1, she was born a month after I started secondary school...

Pixie Lott, I think. She's a little over a year younger, Sean Kingston is about 4 months older than me.
Rihanna I think, seems odd as I was 20 at the time but thankfully S Club Juniors never bagged a No.1 in 2002 *.*
Just wondering, does Jessica Smith aka Sun Baby count as part of the performers on the Teletubbies #1?
For me it's Hanson in 1997, but if it's just for solo artists it would be Usher in 1998.

I'm the same with Hanson and Usher. :D

McFly for me:

McFly “5 Colours in her Hair” (April 2004)

Dougie was born 30 November 1987 making him 16 years 4 months old when he went to #1.

Today's clipboard at college lol

bool not_leap_year(int year)

{

//return year % 4 == 0;

}

:P

Same here, unless the kids on the Dunblane single count.

I don't know the ages of some 70's #1 hit artists, but the youngest is probably...

St Winifred's School Choir - "There's No One Quite Like Grandma" - 27 December 1980 :puke:

Other than that, maybe Musical Youth - Pass The Dutchie

Again, if we're talking as part of a group it would be St Winifred's School Choir for me with "There's No-one Quite Like Grandma". Solo artist took a lot more searching as a lot of acts had number ones who were slightly older than me, but I finally tracked down the "classic" *cough cough* from Peter Andre with "Flava" in September 1996.

In that case it's the same for me, for some reason I thought all of McFly were older than me (I'm May 1987).
