August 17, 200618 yr The funniest moment for me was Suzie's automated nominations. Complete with her bizarre French-accent 'no no no'
August 17, 200618 yr I think you're seeing something that's not there. what isnt there?.... her latest character change? her total annoyance everytime her character is portrayed as less then perfect? fighting battles that not only arnt hers but are dead? giving out advice but failing to follow it herself? if she was the perfect angel some people think she is... how do these traits equate? they dont.
August 17, 200618 yr what isnt there?.... her latest character change? her total annoyance everytime her character is portrayed as less then perfect? fighting battles that not only arnt hers but are dead? giving out advice but failing to follow it herself? if she was the perfect angel some people think she is... how do these traits equate? they dont. I don't think she's perfect. She admits she's not - she called herself in her audition tape 'a monster'. I meant you see the negative in her, when I don't. When perhaps there's not always a negative thing to be found. Like I said, you think the fans are naive. We like her because of what we've seen on screen too. We could be wrong. But maybe - as you don't know these people either and you don't know for certain their thoughts - you're wrong about her. The points you've raised back up your argument. But I don't actually agree with them. 1) I think her character has evolved and improved. The same is said about Glyn (the sodding journey we keep hearing about), Jennie (found her inner child), Richard (found his heart), Nikki (no longer shallow) and Pete (found confidence). All 6 characters have changed. Why is it only a bad thing in her? 2) I'm guessing 'her total annoyance everytime her character is portrayed as less then perfect' refers to her finding out the mach scores. Like I've said, it wasn't good news. When the crowd boo you and chant for your removal, hearing that was not going to put a smile on her face. 3) I think that the water battle was hers because it involved her friend. It's also not dead as everyone in the house and out keep talking about. Grace did also call Aisleyne a 'moose' during this incident so she is involved. 4) It is easier to give advice than to follow it. Everyone gives advice but fails to follow it. Parents don't let their children swear or smoke but do these things themselves. It means she's not perfect or an angel but it also means she's normal. We should agree to disagree about her. August 17, 200618 yr There's not really been THAT many funny moments, but it would have to be one of Nikki's tantrums.
August 17, 200618 yr Yeah right, anyway, apart from the emloyee's having bets, it would be excellent if an outsider like Aisleyne won instead of the usual favourite from day 1.
August 17, 200618 yr Out of those three Aisleyne by far. Pete and Glyn do not deserve to win, Aisleyne's been a much better housemate. It would make a change as well. No one would expect it. But I'm rooting for Nikki, Aisleyne and Rich being my second favourite's.
August 17, 200618 yr Aisleyne to win!!! Didn't really like her when she firsted entered but ever since the Secret House I grew to like her.

We should agree to disagree about her. 1) she uses so many different characters though, it wasnt natural progression but carefully planned, now by itself isnt such a bad thing.. but.. 2) she has this image of herself that she wants to project, when we see the reality and voice it, she gets hurt, ok who wouldnt, but why does it effect this grown woman more then teenagers? or younger people? shabaz took it better! marco, sezer, etc etc, no one on bb has taken personal things as bad. why? because her plan isnt working! 3) grace called her a moose (pot, kettle, black).... so why didnt she ask grace about that? and not something that didnt involve her! 4) the advice thing stinks! all that 'i cant do it' in the diary room was utter bollox! again she was clumsily trying to project this image of herself, what she wants the public to see which is not the reality of it. only nikki has ever been such an arse, but nikki has the mind of a little kid... ash is a grown woman but conveniently switches characters to suit.
August 17, 200618 yr Have wanted Pete to win from day 1 :cheer:. Although, wouldn't mind Glyn winning either. I like Aisleyne, but not sure if she could win it. xXx
August 17, 200618 yr I don't see how that water battle was 'over', especially as Horse Face was saying in the Diary Room and before she went in about telling Ais what she thought of her... and as it turned out when it came to the crunch she just did what she did before. Act nice as pie to the person's face and slag them off and lie about them behind their back. Aisleyne has been the only one to consistently say what she thought of a particular person to their face rather than just behind their back, so I don't get where all this "two-faced" business comes from. If anything I think she's one of the least two-faced in there. As for that battle 'not being hers', she wasn't the only one annoyed with Grace because of the water throwing incident- Richard and Lea were too- but they waited until Grace had galloped out of the house to say they disapproved of what she did. Speaking of which, how is getting upset when you've been evicted and booed taking it badly? Especially compared to Grace chucking water in someone's face because she blamed anyone but herself for the fact the public evicted her. Or if we're talking about older people, what about Lea, who was a quivering unconsolable mess when it was announced she'd been evicted? In fact she degenerated into a quivering uncosolable mess whenever anyone said anything personal to her, and she's a lot older than Ais. I don't see how anyone can say Shahbaz, another person a lot older than Ais, took anything better either. This is someone who hid everyone's food because he was annoyed with them and threatened to commit suicide live on the show.... I agree she milks things like nominations and her blubbering is over the top and annoying, and yes she is probably trying to get the public on her side, but so is Pete with his dopey "I won't believe in heaven no more if I don't win" speech, and Glyn with his "I've groooooooooooooaarrrrrn uppp sooo muuuuchhh" speeches. They're all playing a game and are all in it to win it. I think, in comparison to most of the housemates this year, Aisleyne isn't too bad. I think you could find a lot more flaws in most of the others than you can with her. Edited August 17, 200618 yr by ghostwriter
August 17, 200618 yr ive said my bit, it aint worth going on anymore about trivia, its over tomorrow and tbh, im not really bothered who wins, im not voting. whilst ash is one of the better housemates, i just dont like her duplicity.
August 17, 200618 yr How BORING will it be if Pete wins? *YAWN* I think that's why people are voting for Ash. We don't like being told who to like and we don't like voting for 50p a pop when we've been told who's going to win since day 1.
August 17, 200618 yr Just heard that there is an investigation ongoing this minute about Pete receiving Ash's votes. Don't know much more but it will be in the star tomorrow. Oh my God! I knew it!!! I called to vote for Ash the other day and it said "thank you for calling Big Brother - you voted for Pete" and Ive checked the number so many times, its still in my redial and its Aisleyne number. So I texted instead. The votes should be counted by an independant company and not Endemol or by someone trusthworthy...like a Nun.
August 17, 200618 yr ANother thing I like about Ash is she knows what the public expects to see on the show. We wanted her to ask Grace about the water which she ignored her for 10 minutes then said "Well I hope youve apologised to Suzie" and explained to Grace why she stood up for her - didn't Grace need to know that? Yes. Isn't she like a promotions girl or model or something - she's probably constantly in situations were she has to adapt or present herself a certain way to look good for other people...to me thats why she takes the $h!t BB dish out at her to make her look bad so personally because she's on there for exposure and wants to look like a good person. I mean people like her, she's done her job. I wonder who's going to be so interested in having Grace work for them etc. ANd like I said so many times psychologists say her behaviour is normal for someone who is a socail kameleon and isn't it BB's job to show us different types of humans and behaviour. Thats her way of behaviour...and like it all adds up shes done nothing bad to people so all she can be accused of is being false.
August 17, 200618 yr The funniest moment for me was Suzie's automated nominations. Complete with her bizarre French-accent 'no no no' Same for me. It was funny because it DIDN'T involve anybody playing up to the cameras.
August 17, 200618 yr Tonight with Pete talking Tatooine to the Welsh Big Brother had me cracking up. "Bantha poodu" :P All of Nikki's rants as well - particularly when she called Richard a fat ox. Her impressions are awesome too. :D Edited August 17, 200618 yr by Nightcrawler
August 17, 200618 yr Pete doesn't like her at the moment as he reckons he wont win now because of Ash's speach it's like get over it, we arent going to base who we vote for on the speaches. I am not voting this year anyway!
