4th Place: Coronation Street [10/23] [43.48%]

 

It's no surprise to me that Coronation Street has finished fourth despite believing they had a much bigger fanbase on Buzzjack than Emmerdale & Hollyoaks. Stuart Blackburn, replacing Phil Collinson is the prime reason that I believe that Coronation Street has fell from such a high standard. I remember during Phil Collinson I found Coronation Street gripping and unmissable, however Stuart Blackburn has slowly ruined the soap and has taking away any enjoyable drama by making it incredibly predictable and removing the soap from it's roots. The soap itself will continue losing essential characters with Carla King, Jason Grimshaw and Kylie Platt due to leave within the next couple of months.

I've voted Emmerdale, mainly due to the fact that I don't watch the soap very much. I used to watch it but rapidly stopped watching in 2012 once I became addicted to Hollyoaks and their E4 showing.

Hollyoaks for me

Hollyoaks. It's explosive and enjoyable but compared to the other two, it just pales at the moment. Emmerdale is so incredibly underrated.

Hollyoaks, can't keep up with this now, the twists are a bit like wtf.

I love Hollyoaks but for how it is now I said that. Stuff like the gloved killer, Pete/Cleo's paedophilia storyline, Robbie/Holly/Jason are going on way too long with no new developments, just the same sort of thing.

I think Emmerdale gets a hard time really, people seem to think it's boring and for old people just because it's set in the countryside :lol: It's way better than Corrie and much more realistic than Hollyoaks. Doesn't top EE for me at the moment but it has gone from strength to strength recently.

Characters, believability, storylines, figjt scenes, their preferred characters.

 

Meanwhile Hollyoaks just goes on and on - "how are you and John Paul, Hannah?" "How are you and?" "How is it going with?"

 

For moonths they had that same conversation eeevery day. Every. Day.
