Posted March 19, 20169 yr Of course when this heat was ongoing I was wisely focusing on the first proper Super Saturday of Eurovision where Switzerland correctly selected Rykka, Denmark incorrectly didn't select Anja or Simone and Italy's Sanremo winners correctly declined to go to Eurovision to leave the door open for the fantastic Francesca Michielin - look out for the final version of 'No Degree of Separation' to drop in the next couple of days! But anyway, this was my favourite heat in Melodifestivalen this year so I'm baffled that it was the heat left over but here are the contenders: http://i.imgur.com/eQ3fgmg.jpg 01. David Lindgren - We Are Your Tomorrow This year David made his third appearance in Melodifestivalen, and reached the final to keep his 100% record. Once again he failed to live up to the success of his début 'Shout It Out' with this song, but this Axwell & Ingrosso-inspired dance track may struggle to reach the same result here... http://i.imgur.com/G4G2VBp.jpg 02. Victor och Natten - 100% In the second slot, this had basically been eliminated before being performed but it's a nice Swedish-language track if a little forgettable and the Swedish public agreed. http://i.imgur.com/Gs4dH8e.jpg 03. Molly Pettersson Hammar - Hunger The loveable Melodifestivalen icon Molly Pettersson Hammar caused delight to everyone when she made the top 4 in this heat, and caused tears when she was beaten out by Panetoz in Second Chance. Nevertheless Queen Molly is having the last laugh as she is going to Eurovision in May anyway via writing credits on Maltese entry 'Walk On Water' performed by Ira Losco so she is the moral victor, besides Frans, in this year's Melodifestivalen - can she do the same in Buzzfestivalen? http://i.imgur.com/xlXqQZ2.jpg 04. Isa - I Will Wait Screams of winner were abound when 'I Will Wait' was first rehearsed, yet a shock ticket to Second Chance and then losing out to SaRaha saw her fail to match up to the great début result of 'Don't Stop'. Isa was so close to making the final on two occasions this year, will it be third time lucky here? http://i.imgur.com/i9vXtw4.jpg 05. Krista Siegfrids - Faller Everyone's favourite Finnish Eurovision act took the journey to Sweden this year with her "modern schlager" track and scored a top 5 finish in this heat. Can Krista go one better and progress through this heat this time round? http://i.imgur.com/basDoei.jpg 06. Patrik Isaksson, Tommy Nilsson & Uno Svenningsson - Håll mitt hjärta hårt Fears that these three would emulate Ravaillacz luckily proved to be wrong as they crashed out of this heat in last place, but maybe there are some hidden fans on Buzzjack ready to push them to the heights of 6th? Nah, I don't think so either. http://i.imgur.com/tnP9N4n.jpg 07. Wiktoria - Save Me Wiktoria's stunning stage show was one of the main talking points in a drama-filled Melodifestivalen this year, and helped her on the way to second place in the final televote. As there is no international jury involved in Buzzfestivalen, maybe Wiktoria's country-pop smash can take it all here? So there we are! A quick reminder of the remaining hosts are here: Heat 3: Robot Heat 4: Jáhq AC: Lex Final: AdamAloud And a vote-friendly list is here: David Lindgren - We Are Your Tomorrow Victor och Natten - 100% Molly Pettersson Hammar - Hunger Isa - I Will Wait Krista Siegfrids - Faller Patrik Isaksson, Tommy Nilsson & Uno Svenningsson - Håll mitt hjärta hårt Wiktoria - Save Me Please use this voting system: 12 10 08 06 04 02 00 And send votes to me via PM! March 26, 20169 yr As long as David and Krista are both progressing, I don't really care for the rest of this heat.
March 26, 20169 yr No great surprise, OR LOSS, there. So long as Isa goes DIREKT then I'm fine with whatever here really.
