A dance-pop single in the R&B and Urban forum, because will.i.am is black? Mess.

 

Anyway will's PR team have sent out embargoed preview today.

will.i.am's last album thread was in this forum, I moved it here because of that. If it does turn out to be very pop we can move it back. The fact that he is black has nothing to do with this.
will.i.am has been quiet for quite a while now going by traditionally hectic schedule so looking forward to this to see if he can maintain his impressive solo chart success!

On paper, this is a UK chart hit waiting to happen.

 

Hope it's not a dance-pop song, but instead a Mustard influenced R&B banger!

Sounds good from what I can hear, I assume by the sounds of it it'll be Will on the verses and then Pia on the chorus.

This is kind of all over the place.

 

I half like the will verses in a generic way but I am really not keen on the chorus. Why is Pia doing her best Charli XCX/Gwen impression? It honestly sounds nothing like her and if it wasn't featured under her name I would have had no idea. As much as I love 'Fancy' I am not sure I love the impact it has had on what people are putting out - this and 'Pretty Girls' just seem so derivative.

well after the mess of it's my birthday this needs to be good - looking forward to hearing it as will usually delivers.
