Despite ESC Nation stating that last year would be the final year of the scoreboard simulator, they have done a U-turn and released a simulator for 2016 with the brand new voting system!

Israel just won my first simulation despite Russia easily winning the televote at the end - Russia were last after the jury voting! :kink:

Switzerland did surprisingly well on mine too, think they finished top 10! UK was last in my televote :kink:

Hopefully it's not a sign of things to come in May (although I don't think it'll be too much better :kink:) And thank you! :D
I see your unlikely top 2 and raise you Armenia and Germany (nothing seemed to do well on both the jury and televote on mine for some reason).

Oh I like the new swish things they've done here.

Some unrealistic situations with the new system I think. Denmark won my jury vote by 20 points and then promptly came 3rd-last on the televote, while San Marino came last on televote yet did decently with the juries. Azerbaijan scored a nul with the juries but was top 10 on televote, leaving the UK's second-last jury and fourth-last televote to come last (maybe there is something in that if we're all getting it).

But actually in the end, I got a fairly realistic outcome with Russia 382, Croatia 373 and Sweden 343 in the end (and in that order on the televote).

I sense because of the new system this will have a lot more replay value than previous years actually.

Israel just won mine too, 1st with jury and 2nd on televote  (This is even with telling it to take odds into the equation...and Russia didn't even make the final)

Croatia got NOTHING from the jury and WON the televote. 10th overall with 226 points :')

1st: Albania

2nd: Ukraine

3rd: France

4th: Croatia

5th: Serbia

The televoting stuck somewhat to the odds! Sweden came 4th, Russia came 2nd, Ukraine won it.

Just did another which wasn't that unrealistic actually ;o

Montenegro just won for me, but my 2nd to 7th were very realistic with Sweden followed by Russia, France, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Croatia. Switzerland won the jury vote and got nothing from the televote! :kink:

Has ANYONE had one where the UK does anything less than awful? I just did one where they got nothing but 3 televote points, and then I tried a 'completely random' one just to see something where Russia wouldn't win and the UK got a DOUBLE NUL!

Like, we're obviously not doing well in reality but even San Marino has occasions where this fantasy lets them have a moment.

UK finally did ok on mine, a fantastic 22nd! 112 points (actually did well with juries but 36 televote points killed it!)

France won for me this time, beating Finland by 11 points

Just done it an Armenia after scoring 0 with the judges, got 153 points from the televote. Germany won, but when I have gone onto the table, it hasn't added all of the points correctly and they came 4th now. Whatever. The UK came 1 from last.

Just had the UK come 23rd taking into account odds and diaspora. In the same run, San Marino came 7th. Getting kinda tired of Russia winning with 150 point margins - it'd be at least slightly more believable if they didn't top both the jury and televote every time. And I feel kinda bad for the people behind the simulator because the split between jury and televote is just another way to enter bizarre variance. I'm not quite buying Spain coming 3rd on the televote and 23rd with the juries.

EDIT: Have to hand it to San Marino though - 7th in the final after coming 10th in the semi, being top 10 on neither the televote nor the jury vote in said semi. Impressive turnaround.
