The sooner Drake releases his songs on Spotify, the more chance he has of knocking Mike Posner off #1 officially next week

'One Dance' is definitely the one more suited to the UK charts but I actually don't think either of them would be this high if they weren't by Drake... This is his 'imperial phase' for sure.

Yeah, he really is at that point where his name is a huge draw now. Summer Sixteen did really well too, and that certainly didn't have the commercial appeal of Hotline Bling.

Drake is probably the only rapper in the world right now that could have this big an effect so quickly in the UK...

Only rapper definitely, but surely it's only the likes of Adele, Bieber or One Direction would have a similar effect than Drake?

Not really sure why you're bring them up though, I mean he said rapper so...

I'm trying to think of any other artists right now that could have two new songs fly straight into the top 5... I agreed he's the only rapper who'd do this right now!

1. Drake - One Dance (feat. Wizkid & Kyla)

4. Drake - Pop Style (feat. The Throne)

44. DJ Snake - Middle (feat. Bipolar Sunshine)

62. Desiigner - Panda

63. Mura Masa - What If I Go?

77. Good Charlotte - 40 oz. Dream

Aside from the commercial prospects, if you go on the iTunes Music page the first banner right at the front says "Drake: Exclusive Single", and only has One Dance there, which is probably contributing to its lead over Pop Style.
I have not enough words how proud I am to be a Drake fan since say 1 now. He's like really one of the top 5 biggest artists in the world.

I think Eminem could.

Eminem? Not anymore (IMHO)

Drake has quite the lead, I Took a Pill down to 0.77 (+ 2nd version outside the top 100), Sia 0.79 combined

Well his popularity hasn't faltered since The Monster, and in 2013 he managed to get Survival, The Monster, Berzerk and Rap God into the iTunes top 5 with basically no radio promo for 3 of them. He hasn't released for a while so I reckon he could.

I wanted Sia to get to number one, it's probably not gonna happen now
Drake will be lucky to make the top 40 this week. He could possibly make the top 10 next week if he holds up well/puts the songs on Spotify.

I think Sia going to #1 is a lot more likely than Drake doing it [his huge fanbase is why he's #1 on iTunes].

On Digital Sales data Sia is slightly outselling Mike Posner too, but that doesn't account for versions outside the top 100. Anyway it's really close.

 56. All Saints - One Strike ! :cheer: .... Surprised at how well it's holding up top 75.... Such a shame it won't chart officially :(

Fantastic, hoping they keep this as 59p next week when the album goes up for sale, as the cherry picks could make the song increase significantly more on iTunes. I'd love them to peak top 75 next Friday.
