Glad you approve! It really is a beauty, great balance of being emotionally haunting and being so uniting in the club. Chuffed at its official chart success too.

 

I've had only one listen to 'Misery' and it didn't capture my interests at all in the same way as 'Make Me Like You'. Still got to listen to her album which seems to have had decent reviews; I feel the general consensus is that there are some highlights and some average tracks?

 

I didn't think I'd like anything more from them after 'Worth It' but they've brought the goods again with 'Work From Home'! Seems they're stealing the place of American R&B-esque girl band now that the Pussycat Dolls are long since over!

I wish he'd go back to the really interesting production like on Frisky or Pass Out or even Lover Not A Fighter. This just doesn't do much for me at all. But on a positive note, at least it's better than Trampoline :lol:

An excellent #1 there, Tinie is one of my favourite rappers and Girls Like is a contender for my favourite of his I think. Zara's part is great too, although I think the middle 8 is my favourite part :heehee:

 

Glad to see YOUTH has been a hit here too, it's no secret that I'm a huge fan of Troye :lol: If only commercial radio had been on board, I think it could've been a huge smash hit :(

I agree in regards to Mike Posner, it seemed to just have a generic formula of what's popular right now, but then I realised how interesting the lyrics were and the SeeB production really got me hyped when hearing it in the club, so it's fair to say I judged it too quickly!

 

There's literally so much music that I love right now that competition for my Top 10 is really high, like the whole Top 20 would be Top 10 if it could! 5H will get there eventually, I'm sure - again it just goes down a storm in the club and I can see it remaining a staple hit on DJ's playlists.

 

What, NO new entries?!

I completely accept that this song probably should be bad, but there's something so catchy about the melody, the hook and nonsense lyrics! It would be nice to hear something more inspired like his first two singles but I reckon, following a slightly underperforming second era, Tinie's playing it safe for now.

 

Hopefully "NO" will be big!

Loving the Raleigh stannage here :D

Really glad I've discovered Raleigh's music. Loved 'Bloodsport' when it was playlisted by Radio 1 but didn't get round to charting it, but I'm enjoying it again as well as his surprisingly impressive debut album; was not expecting to like it as much as I do!

Thanks for commenting Harry, yeah AlunaGeorge and Mike have made it despite my doubts - I love them both but there's so much competition for my Top 10, I thought they'd miss out!

An excellent #1 there, Tinie is one of my favourite rappers and Girls Like is a contender for my favourite of his I think. Zara's part is great too, although I think the middle 8 is my favourite part :heehee:

 

Glad to see YOUTH has been a hit here too, it's no secret that I'm a huge fan of Troye :lol: If only commercial radio had been on board, I think it could've been a huge smash hit :(

Hi Joseph, haha glad you like it! :P Not sure what would be my favourite Tinie track, probably between 'Pass Out' and 'Written in the Stars' but 'Frisky', 'Wonderman' and 'Miami 2 Ibiza' are all great too. 'Girls Like' will probably end up there too, I agree the middle 8 is probably best!

 

'YOUTH' suddenly made sense to me after watching the video. I was so enthralled by the likes of 'WILD' and 'TALK ME DOWN' that 'YOUTH' just seemed too desperate to be a hit, but watching the video, with some a very aesthetically pleasing colour pallet, really showed off what a tune it is. Really great, euphoric melody and I think its consistency whilst bubbling under and just over the Top 100 mark proved there was a demand for it, it just needed some radio support!
