April 19, 20169 yr As each day passes I'm starting to believe more in a French win, the hype is building, it's an incredibly instant song and Amir is such a popular and charismatic performer. That along with the fact that Russia, despite comfortably topping the odds, just doesn't sound like a 2016 winner. France vs. Frans? *.* I thought Poli would be easily in the top three here actually too...though I expect she's looking more at something like 7th-13th in the actual final.
April 19, 20169 yr I don't want to get too behind a French win because I'm rooting for Frans, but Amir would easily be my second choice and France winning would be incredible having not done so in almost 40 years and it would be so unexpected (not NOW, but if we were trying to predict which countries may win before anything had been chosen). And I'd win £66. To put towards a flight to Paris.
April 19, 20169 yr I am on board for a French win. In a way both France and Sweden feel like the heir to Satelite more than, say, Euphoria or Fairytale in the sense of winning in a year without an obvious runaway by virtue of being catchy, simple (in a good way), chart friendly pop songs.

April 20, 20169 yr Seems so strange to me that everybody in these clubs share such similar tastes that fewer than half of this year's contestants have even made a mark here. Malta in particular is regarded as a fan favourite, yet the OGAE clubs are universally ignoring it!
