Anyway, I couldn't resist and I listened to the full track and it's really good. The whistles are everything.

This is seriously good. Quite different for him actually but it works soooo well :wub: Rather haunting in ways, I love the way it builds though and the chorus is incredibly catchy. Excellent comeback Tom :cheer:

Long Way Down came out on June 24, 2013.

Just listened to 'Wrong Crowd' and I am MORE THAN IMPRESSED. I started by being really interested in the sort of sound he was going for and by the end I was totally hooked. The way it builds and builds throughout is pretty expert! What a bold statement to return on, and a brilliant growth from the sound of his last era. I am really excited for this era and I did not expect to be!

 

I can foresee a lot of really interesting remixes coming too for this song. I hope it can get some sort of big exposure.

Overshadowed by the likes of George Ezra and James Bay since his debut, thrilled to see plans for a second album so soon and looking to be well received already!

very good song, love how it builds and builds, like many of you mentioned... but at the same time, the lyrics don't do much to me, so a bit disappointed in there... but maybe it's cos I will always compare his output to Another Love, which has some of my fav lyrics ever (I wanna cry... but All my tears have been used up on another love...)
