The video does bring the song alive a lot more than when it was just the audio, but it's still not one of her best. Dare I say it but it feels like they focused to much on the statement than they did the music. I mean, the "I ain't your mama" line is a good hook, but there's little else to support it.

Yeah the "I ain't your mama" hook is great, but I think the rest of it is interesting enough to make it a very good song overall. Not her best by any means but also far from her worst. I mean, the only thing that would improve it is having Sean Paul on it :lol:

May 12, 20169 yr I find this better than Dance Again as well. Haven't liked a single of hers this much since Papi. I thought the song was boring at first as well but it's a grower and also a slow burn.

May 13, 20169 yr This is my favourite of hers since Live It Up although I have enjoyed the singles in between to some extent. Good to see it not totally going unnoticed on iTunes!

June 2, 20169 yr #3 on German iTunes/#16 on German Spotify #6 on Spanish iTunes/#4 on Spanish Spotify ^ Coming for Top 5 in both countries and already certified in Spain. Looking likely to be a big hit in Europe. Just wish it would follow suit worldwide.
July 9, 20169 yr Author Did this get sent to UK radios? Yes, it went for adds yesterday and its up to 132 on Uk iTunes it looks like its on its way back in top the top 100 again. The song has gone top top 10 in Germany and will most likely go higher next week and it'll go to go top 20 next week in France. And those are 2 of the biggest music market so hopefully Uk will follow suit soon.
