Posted April 5, 20169 yr Critically acclaimed Irish soap - Red Rock - will begin broadcasting on BBC Daytime later this year. http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/latestnew...kname=corporate I've never seen it, but apparently it's VERY good! In the UK it will be airing as 40 hour long episodes, whereas the original Irish showing was 20 minutes per episode. I'm guessing they are airing like this to catch up with the Irish pace as quickly as possible. I've been meaning to catch an episode of this after the hype on Digital Spy's soap forum, so I guess I can wait until the BBC broadcast now!
April 5, 20169 yr i'd be interested to see where in the day the show is broadcast. i mean, bbc 1 have their day skedule planned out quite well- stuff like homes under the hammer, bargain hunt, all those shows in the morning- the lunch time news, doctors (which i don't see them getting rid of), then a quiz, and then escape to the country. so if it's going to be broadcast, either i think it will be on BBC 2 (not so familiar with their skedule), or the 2 15 slot on BBC1 could be used
April 8, 20169 yr My cousin lives in Ireland and has often mentioned that it is a great show so will am looking forward to tuning into it when it arrives on BBC Daytime.
July 1, 20168 yr Author Starts on Monday 11th July at 1:45pm, airing each weekday! That's a bit of a big commitment tbh - but I'll try.
July 2, 20168 yr This is actually quiet good folks, i live in Ireland and really got into it. My worry for the show is in a way it has centered around one massive storyline and when its concluded it will be a real test to how the show will grow with interesting storylines.
July 13, 20168 yr I keep seeing episodes of this on my lunch breaks and it's honestly one of the worst things I've ever seen in my life. Pretty much the entire cast cannot act.
