I'm starting to like this Meghan Trainor song a bit now

Possibly her best song yet, though I liked Lips Are Movin also.

No is absolutely incredible, easily in my top 3 of the year at the moment! Fantastic jam and an incredible song, hope this can hit top 10 next week after The Voice

Besides, Vamps fans with no knowledge of the chart would be pissed off if they were told the song had no chance of climbing.

Well the truth hurts

NO  Such a fantastic song, possibly my favourite Meghan song now. Love the throwback sound!

and of course Greg should know Vamps are not gonna climb, he's a music journalist and chart presenter, it's his job!!!!!

Of course, he should say, sorry folks it will drop because it's going down on iTunes and isn't streamed at all? Or what do you expect from him? A casual music listener doesn't know really how a chart works and I don't think he said anything false. You're mixing the casual music listeners to us chart freaks who're watching every minute what happens on iTunes/Spotify etc.

I unashamedly love this now. This, 'Faded', 'Roses', and 'When We Were Young' were all absolute hammered on the radio when I was in Tenerife last week. I'm shocked that 'Roses' in particular hasn't been bigger over here.

Edited April 8, 201610 yr by Defaze

as if the chart couldn't get any worse Meghan Trainor comes on

It seemed to be getting more and more irrelevant as the weeks went by  Saves a bit of time :kink:

It's still interesting to see though

I got Taylor Swift and Rihanna from that montage

Rihanna (Pon De Replay) and Taylor Swift (WANEGBT) in that? Those were like the only 2 I could kinda hear

Sorry is ok!

Biography

Justin Drew Bieber (/ˈbiːbər/; born March 1, 1994) is a Canadian singer and songwriter. After a talent manager discovered him through his YouTube videos covering songs in 2007 and signed to RBMG, Bieber released his debut EP, My World, in late 2009. It was certified platinum in the U.S. He became the first artist to have seven songs from a debut record chart on the Billboard Hot 100. Bieber released his first full-length studio album, My World 2.0, in 2010. It debuted at or near number one in several countries and was certified triple platinum in the U.S. It was preceded by his most successful single to date, "Baby".

Following his debut album, he had his first headlining tour, the My World Tour, released the remix albums My Worlds Acoustic and Never Say Never – The Remixes -- and the 3D biopic-concert film Justin Bieber: Never Say Never. He released his second studio album, Under the Mistletoe, in November 2011, when it debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. Bieber released his third studio album, Believe, in 2012. His fourth studio album Purpose was released in November 2015. His U.S. album and singles sales total 44.7 million. On December 16, 2015, his sales were estimated at more than 75 million records worldwide. On February 12, 2016, Bieber's first four albums were released on vinyl for the first time.

He has won numerous fan-voted awards, including American Music Award for Artist of the Year in 2010 and 2012. In his career, he has received three Grammy nominations, winning one for Best Dance Recording for the song "Where Are Ü Now" at the 2016 ceremony. His fan base, dubbed "beliebers", largely consists of early to mid-adolescent girls. He was listed three times by Forbes magazine among the top ten most powerful celebrities in the world in 2011, 2012, and 2013. - Wikipedia

Biography

Aubrey Drake Graham (born October 24, 1986) better known as simply Drake, is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer and actor. He was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. He first garnered recognition for his role as Jimmy Brooks on the television series Degrassi: The Next Generation. He later rose to prominence as a rapper, releasing several mixtapes before signing to Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment in June 2009.

Drake's EP, So Far Gone (2009), spawned the successful single "Best I Ever Had". His first studio album, Thank Me Later (2010), debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and generated the single "Find Your Love". It was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). His second album, Take Care (2011), is his most successful to date, topping charts in the United States and Canada and producing the singles "Take Care", "Make Me Proud" and "The Motto", the last of which is also credited for popularizing the widely used acronym YOLO. In promotion of his second album, Drake embarked on the worldwide Club Paradise Tour, which became the most successful hip-hop tour of 2012, grossing over $42 million. His third studio album Nothing Was the Same was released on September 24, 2013. It was supported by the singles "Started from the Bottom" and "Hold On, We're Going Home".

His work has earned him a Grammy Award, three Juno Awards, six BET Awards, and set several significant Billboard charts records. Drake has the most number-one singles on the Billboard Hot Rap Songs chart with 12 and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs with 10. He is one of two artists (the other being 50 Cent) to have simultaneously occupied the chart's top three positions.

Drake, along with being a record producer under the pseudonym Champagne Papi, has also written songs for other artists, including Alicia Keys ("Un-Thinkable (I'm Ready)"), Rita Ora ("R.I.P."), Jamie Foxx and Trey Songz. - Wikipedia

Album Discussion Here

Far from my favourite on the album, but nice to see Kanye get a top 40 entry! Also unless I'm mistaken, Hello drops out this week :o

You're correct :o Adele is still in the chart with WWWY so not quite the end of an era just yet.

Drizzy Drake inside the top 25 :cheer: Set to climb BIG next week too!!

I thought this would be higher actually considering its iTunes lead and the fact it was #25 in yesterday's mids! Will no doubt be a huge climber next week anyway.

I've still never bored of 'Sorry', unlike WDYM which can sometimes be a bit of a chore if I'm not hearing it out of choice.

Thankfully this Drake song is about 100 times better than 'Hotline Bling'. This, I wouldn't have a problem being a hit.

I thought this would be higher actually considering its iTunes lead and the fact it was #25 in yesterday's mids! Will no doubt be a huge climber next week anyway.

And I thought Pop Style will make it in in the end too.
