I already know (and like) the Dobago and Taahino entries and I recognise a couple of artists, particularly Ummet Ozcan who served up a top 40 bop a couple of years ago with NERVO in Revolution :music:

Imma need people to see the video for my song as well (like with most of my entries xx) I think this looks like a pretty good semi for my song but really no idea if it'll appeal enough even to my usual voters to get through. I found this song months ago and initially didn't care for it at all, only grew on me when I revisited it again recently (with the video). That probably isn't a good sign for a BJSC entry. But I'm loving it a lot now so I hope a few other people do as well x

 

(I didn't send anyone this song before the contest but curious to know if anyone might have come across it before this contest anyway? BOOTS was the producer of most of Beyoncé's self-titled album :magic: so not exactly a totally obscure name, though I don't think I've ever seen him mentioned on here).

 

I'm only really familiar with 3 songs in this contest (Syndare & Cadelicia hype), heard a handful of others but not enough times/paying enough attention to really form an opinion on them. Yay, discoveries!

People don't necessarily need to watch the video to my SONG because it's a song contest and hopefully my SONG will do the talking B-) (but can people listen to the Jai Wolf remix of it too because it's f***ing INSANE but wouldn't have been allowed through the veto but still a very worthy discovery for people~)

I won't be getting my hopes up, despite sending the song which would be at #1 for 3 weeks (defunct chart) for me.

 

Let's just pray there's some pop fans who can bypass the language barrier and appreciate a good pop song with an amazing strings breakdown throughout the song. :(
