Hope you all enjoyed. Next up, three more classic tunes will join the above mentioned three in the Retro Hall Of Fame as we go through the runners up from the 70s, 80s and 90s rates. After that, it's a trip back to the 1960's. Thanks again all!
April 27, 20169 yr Thanks AH for all the organising and counting! That top 10 was pretty fair overall, though I'd drop Madonna down and push Being Boring up (both topped my chart so I'm splitting hairs). The right song won especially for the remix version :yahoo: You Got The Love, I'm giving away the game, is the top-rated 90's song in my Top 800 million "sellers", so I kinda would think that really.... roll on the 60's! Loads for me to discover in the minor hits, and so many I love... :yahoo:
April 27, 20169 yr That number one pretty much justifies the full chart, so very happy here! A bit confused at the love for the St Etienne Christmas single though - especially putting it above their Neil Young cover! Edited April 27, 20169 yr by richie
April 28, 20169 yr Yes, this has been wonderful, thank you for all the effort! I forgot to give points to 'Sweet Harmony' which I regret now but it seems to have done just fine anyway.
April 28, 20169 yr Very good No.1 although I adore "Stay" and "Torn". Thanks for your good work! I'm looking forward to your next countdown (Maybe 2000-2009..?).
April 29, 20169 yr Thanks for your good work! I'm looking forward to your next countdown (Maybe 2000-2009..?). Think we're going back to the 60s before we touch the 00s. Strangely, I suspect I'll know more of the 60s despite not being born then.
April 29, 20169 yr Think we're going back to the 60s before we touch the 00s. Strangely, I suspect I'll know more of the 60s despite not being born then. Technically I wasn't born in the 60's either, though I do recall the later 60's well enough
May 1, 20169 yr Author Thanks everyone. Much appreciated. Yeah it is 60s next 00s after. Apologs for lack of sense. I am very very drunk right now. Never again. Been 'dancing' to some drake nonsense most of night and i have never felt so old...anyways i digress. Thanks again all
May 2, 20169 yr Thanks everyone. Much appreciated. Yeah it is 60s next 00s after. Apologs for lack of sense. I am very very drunk right now. Never again. Been 'dancing' to some drake nonsense most of night and i have never felt so old...anyways i digress. Thanks again all Hope the hangover was small! 2 pints is my limit, lightweight. I resent dance clubs opening so late. They should think of the older music fan and open early so we can get home at our normal bedtime and do some dad dancing before the already-tipsy young crowd turn up at midnight having bought cheap booze from tescos :P No wonder pubs and clubs are closing down all over the place, oops!

I don't even remember writing that  Hangover was significant, shall we say. I did last until the very end of the night though. How I managed to go clubbing four nights a week in the past I don't know - certainly, can't do it now! Never again
