May 17, 20169 yr Seriously? I always thought it was her Stripped/My December (basically her "complete creative control" album). It is definitely her least commercial-sounding album so I wouldn't have thought that it would've been the label exec's choice to go with that sound. It was that, in some ways, but then again so was M!ssundaztood. I think she wanted to experiment more with edgy/rock music and the result wasn't as mainstream/commercial. M!ssundaztood was such a great succes because of the personal touch every song and its lyrics had, which lacked in Try This as she has stated herself (which was done very deliberately).
