Posted March 29, 200619 yr A brilliant way to extend your DVD collection (even if it does mean you have to buy objectionable crap like the Mail on Sunday or the Sunday Telegraph.... ), and a great way to get your hands on older classic films as well.... This Saturday in "The Independent" the Claude Chabrol French "New Wave" classic "Le Boucher" a quite bizarre and very different take on the representation of serial killers in films - the bloke in this one is terrifyingly normal :o and more than a little sympathetic.... It's a real slow-burning film that needs your patience, but it will get in your head; it's far removed from any conventional thriller....
