See Lucy, it's not just you in here ^_^

Suppose.

So who's everyones favourite characters?

I'd say mine are Phil Hunter, Terry Perkins, Mickey Webb (not that he's in it much), Dale Smith (Smithy) and Will Fletcher.

Des Tavener was good before he left too.

I used to love The Bill but now I just don't like it that much anymore. :(

Des was the best charchter by far when I used to watch it, oh and Reg as well. ^_^

Wednesday 11th October- Yvonne Held Hostage

Superintendent Heaton is dropped off at work by wife, Rhiannon. He tells her he’ll be home in time for dinner after she comments on whether he’ll be seeing DAC Georgia Hobbs tonight. The pair bicker until Elliot, Rhiannon’s web designer, turns up to hand in a mobile phone which he has found. Elliot greets Heaton and Rhiannon, hands the phone into the front desk and leaves. PC Will Fletcher shows PC Emma Keane footage of a kid shoplifting on the mobile when Maxwell Carter arrives to claim the phone. Will immediately arrests him on suspicion of theft and the two officers question him about the video footage. Was Maxwell stupid enough to film a friend shop lift?

Meanwhile, PCs Lewis Hardy and Yvonne Hemmingway are called out to a house where teenager, Jess has come home to find her dad James missing, the kitchen in a mess and blood on the floor. When Lewis and Yvonne don’t find anything in the house, they take Jess and search the local area in the car. Yvonne slams on the brakes when a terrified James runs out in from of them with his hands tied behind his back. James tells them he was abducted and thought he was going to be killed.

Yvonne and Lewis involve DCs Terry Perkins and Mickey Webb - who is nursing yet another hangover - in the abduction case. James tells Yvonne and Lewis that he was bundled into a red van by a man who called him ‘Jim’ – a name he hadn’t been called since his school days. Mickey checks out the CCTV footage which shows a red van from a courier company at the scene of the abduction. Aidan Buckley was driving the van and Yvonne and Lewis go and arrest him. James admits to Terry he vaguely remembers playing pranks on Aidan at school. Whilst Lewis chats up a girl, Yvonne spots Aidan making a run for it. Yvonne chases him onto a bus which has stopped to drop passengers off. Aidan demands the bus driver close the doors and pulls a gun out on a terrified Yvonne.

Heaton attends the scene and is intrigued to see wife Rhiannon. She tells him Elliot is one of the hostages of the bus as they have just come back from a business lunch together. Heaton asks Rhiannon if she is having an affair and she admits she is, for the past eight months…

Later, Emma is stunned when Matt Hinckley tells her that the church they are looking to get married in has had a cancellation. So they can now get married in three weeks’ time. Matt is soon disappointed when Emma admits there is no way she can prepare in such a short time as she wants the wedding to be perfect. Matt takes his anger out on Will and threateningly tells him that he will marry Emma so Will had better get used to the idea.

And, after sleeping with ex-wife Helen Coles, Terry is surprised to see her turn up at the station. Helen admits she has never stopped loving Terry and he is delighted when she tells him she will leave her husband, David for him…

Thursday 12th October- DC Mickey Webb Arrested For Rape

DC Mickey Webb wakes up in a strange bed and after getting his bearings, walks into the living room to find Jennifer, bruised, battered and screaming at him to get out. Before Mickey can ask what her problem is, he is confronted by DC Ian Crossley from a west end nick and arrested for rape. Mickey is taken to Mill Street police station and is fingerprinted and photographed. DCI Jack Meadows asks DC Zain Nadir to pretend to be Mickey’s Fed Rep and sit in on his interview. Mickey goes through the events of the night and suffers tough questioning from hard-nosed DS Maggie Phelan.

Jack makes his way to Mill Street Station to collect Mickey and Zain and is told by Phelan that a strong case is building against Mickey. Jack promises Mickey that he and Zain will get to the bottom of the investigation but has no choice other than to suspend and send him home. Jack and Zain manage to collect the CCTV tapes from the club Mickey was at just before Crossley arrives. Jack tells the feeble DC that they need to get to the bottom of the case too and persuades Crossley to come to Sun Hill to look at the footage together. Zain and Crossley identify a man Mickey had a clash with and they both leave to question Kelvin Hughes. Jack later visits Mickey at home who admits he has been burning the candle at both ends recently. Jack tells Mickey that once the investigation is over, Mickey should take it easier. But is it too late for Mickey to change his ways?

Elsewhere, PCs Honey Harman and Will Fletcher attend to young man Rudi Eziefula, a cycle courier who has been knocked off his bike by a car. Rudi tells Will that he is worried as he has been told he has a broken leg and collar bone but cannot afford to take time off work. The driver, Adam Francis, is unable to be breathalysed as he is unconscious, but after smelling alcohol on his breath, Will is quick to get a blood sample to prove he has been drinking.

Later, PC Emma Keane advises Will to ask for CPS Lawyer Matt Hinckley’s advice about how reliable the blood sample is. Matt tells Will that he can use the blood sample against Adam as long as he gives retrospective consent, if he doesn’t, it can be seen by the court as a hostile act. During their private chat, Matt takes the opportunity to warn Will to stay away from Emma and says he could make Will’s life very difficult. Soon after, Will receives a call from agitated Sergeant June Ackland who cannot find the blood sample. Will is incensed, did Matt steal the sample to prove a point?

Wednesday 18th October

Trainee DC Kezia Walker visits Sergeant Smithy in Inspector Gina Gold’s office and they end up getting intimate on her desk. Gina is shocked when she rumbles them and warns Smithy to be careful. The Sergeant explains that he’s just having a bit of fun but Gina wonders whether Kezia sees it that way?

Meanwhile, PCs Honey Harman and Emma Keane are sent on a mission to clear the red light district and arrest two girls, Eva Garcia and Pepa Hernandez.

Pepa is found to have a necklace which has been reported stolen. DC Zain Nadir updates DCI Jack Meadows, DI Neil Manson and DS Phil Hunter in on the latest with the Kristen Shaw operation and tells them he is making good progress.

Later, Zain tells them that Kristen’s business partner, Paul Haskew, wants prostitute, Eva, released to help out a friend. In order to also gain Haskew’s trust, Eva is let go and Zain and Neil follow her as she gets into a car which tears off down the road losing the frustrated cops in the process.

Later that day, Honey shows concern when Emma tells her that Matt is organising absolutely everything for their wedding. Emma asks Honey if PC Will Fletcher has said anything about Matt being too controlling. Honey explains that she rushed into a marriage which turned into a disaster and just warns her to be careful.

The girls are soon called out to a house nearby where Eva is found unconscious in a pool of blood. After discovering huge amounts of cocaine wrapped in latex and a Columbian passport, Jack, Neil and Zain are horrified to realise that Eva is a drugs mule. Kristen and Haskew are involved in an international drugs ring and Zain is stuck in the middle…

Elsewhere, PC Leela Kapoor and PC Dan Casper stop a man who seems to be kerb crawling. He is very cagey and admits he works at a local drop-in centre. He is looking for a prostitute called Carrie - he was mugged last night and thinks she did it. The man complains of a headache and the officers call for an ambulance when the man suddenly collapses. Mickey is assigned to question Carrie and on finding out she helped put his rapist, Martin Delaney away, the detective is keen to help her when she protests her innocence.

After their sexual encounter in Romania, DS Sam Nixon hints to Phil that she wants to be asked out on a date. She hasn’t been asked out since she was at school and Phil happily obliges. DS Stuart Turner confronts Phil about his relationship with Sam and Phil tells Stuart it’s none of his business anymore.

Thursday 19th October

PCs Honey Harman and Emma Keane are called out when prostitute Carrie Morgan is reported missing.

After dealing with her on another case the day before, DC Mickey Webb and Trainee DC Kezia Walker help with the investigation. Honey scans CCTV footage from a pub where Carrie was last seen and sees that she spent some time talking to one of the staff. Mickey visits Carrie’s brother, Steve Morgan, to see if he knows where she is and is forced to admit that his sister is a prostitute.

As Mickey is questioning pub owner Jerry Eason and his son, Dave, who admits to telling Carrie to clear off as prostitutes upset their customers, Honey calls to say that Carrie is in hospital after being mugged. Mickey questions a beaten Carrie and a woman is soon arrested for using her stolen debit card. But when the woman denies beating Carrie, Mickey and Kezia follow another lead back to the pub.

Meanwhile, DCI Jack Meadows asks undercover cop DC Zain Nadir to find the name of the person who wanted drugs mule Eva Garcia released from custody. Zain visits Kristen Shaw and shouts at her about Eva, who is now on life-support after he was asked to release her from custody as a favour to Haskew.

Kristen promises that she was not involved in Eva’s beating and Zain says he recovered the drugs before anyone saw them. He explains to Kristen that if he is to help them get out of this mess, he needs to know everything. Totally trusting Zain, Kristen gives him the name of Haskew’s friend, Jose Alvarez, who is their new supplier. When Haskew returns, Zain says he wants to be paid more to protect them and he has to meet Alvarez in order to do his job properly.

Jack and DI Neil Manson are over the moon with Zain’s progress and arrange to be in the same hotel during Zain’s meeting with Haskew and Alvarez. In the room next door, Jack and Neil listen intently to the meeting and with no idea a gun has been pulled on Zain, they panic as he leaves and gets into a car which disappears into the distance. Could this be the end of the renegade cop and Sun Hill’s biggest undercover operation?

Also, DS Phil Hunter apologies to new love DS Sam Nixon for not meeting her last night as he had to work late. Sam agrees to see him that night. Interfering, DS Stuart Turner tells Sam that Phil told him about sleeping with her in Romania. She confronts Phil and, chastened, he promises he wasn’t bragging. Sam warns him and says she wants to take things slowly - she doesn’t want to be station gossip.

And Emma continues to arrange her wedding where Honey is annoyed to find herself roped into organising her hen night.

ma favs are sam nixon, gina gold, june ackland, kezia, smithy, phil
