I just found out that The Weeknd has no physical until Sunday or Monday. So that explains it.

Spice Girls didn't even make 4 albums :lol:

I was a Spice Girls fan and loved their first 2 album, hated the 3rd but there is no point contrasting the bands as the Spice Girls were from an era that we dont see any more, no band will manage those sales again in such a short period and it was easier to get number 1 singles back then due to muti cd releases etc.

 

The big difference with the Spice Girls and Little Mix for example is Spice Girls sales faded with each album where Little Mix are increasing with each album which is great. I really hope the Little Mix girls stay together and learn from previous girlbands. The girls do seem to really get on, they are in such a great position career wise so i hope they continue to build on that and really make their mark on the industry.

Well that's that. Apparently even though his Physical is now on sale (it was in shops yesterday), Weeknd isn't selling enough to even be top 2. Kate Bush is falling and Little Mix are climbing their way back to #1.

Great for them if they manage another week on top! :wub:

Also that number makes no sense. It sold 92k in the UK (pure sales) and around 15k in the US. That's exactly 109k. It had to sell at least 125k with other countries.
