Their first LP 'Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not' was the fastest selling debut album of all time. Frontman Alex Turner also revealed that the band are eager to get back into the studio to write more songs and fine tune work on their next album. Turner commented: "The second album will be different I think. We've already got more than ten songs, because we've been writing for a long time. "The last song that went on the (first) album - 'You Probably Couldn't See For The Lights But You Were Looking Straight At Me' - was written last May. "So there are all the songs that we've written since then and they're all a bit different. I'll just be excited about getting back into the studio." Published: Wednesday 29th March 2006

March 29, 200619 yr I suppose this means there could be a new album in about 12 months well it'll probably turn into 18 months like most bands do wilst they are doing there second albums.
