Sivert Høyem "Lioness"

The latest release from Norwegian singer/songwriter Sivert Høyem (actually came out around the start of the year), vocalist from the band Madrugada, who you might remember from a Nuggets contest I hosted in 2014. "Lioness" became Sivert's 4th #1 album on the Norwegian chart and I'm liking it loads at the moment. Two instant highlights with the opener Sleepwalking Man, and the title track Lioness (that piano riff is just dripping melancholy and it's great <3). Maybe not an album made for Buzzjack, with those deep male vocals- but if you enjoy them like I do then you've got a pretty lovely chamber pop/alt rock record on your hands
