This group were one of P Diddy's creations, and I think they had a lot of lineup change. But I absolutely ADORED this track, I remember loving it when it was released in 2001, it peaked at #17, but I think it was #1 in the USA. Such a great pop track!

Here's the video:

I do vaguely remember this actually! :o Obviously because it didn't do well, I can't remember much - but I do recall the chorus ^_^ It's ok.

I absolutely adored this song.

I could never remember what it was called, and it has bugged me for years, and I saw it on TV the other day when I was at Louises and I was like "GO BACK GO BACK!!!" .

She knew it well. -_-

It was #2 in the US

Oh well I was 1 off. :P Thanks for the info. ^_^

Isnt it funny when u have white people try and act, dance and have attitude like black people. Tey just look stupid lol. I liked they song though when it was out.

One of the best singles of that year. Great song - shame it underperformed in this country.

I loved the girl in the vid who looked like a dyke version of Jenny McCarthy - she pointed and gesticulated in a scary way.

Hurrah some more fans! :D

Anyone know what ACTUALLY happened to them?

Their second single "This is Me" was even better - check it out!

They were very similar if I remember correctly.

Yeah... but This is Me wasn't nearly as "sassy" which, as others have pointed out, looks a little absurd from a bunch of little white girls.

I had their cd and there were like 7 great songs on it!

But they broke up because the blonde girl broke off because she was getting paid less then everybody else or something like that. Even though she danced the best and sang just as good as everyone else. But yes all three of their singles were FAB. too bad they broke up so early :( I remember one of the videos had them following the guy with go-karts it was cool. Now that I think about it I really liked them when they were out! Even though I was like 9 or 10

Have always liked that song.

i suppose it will have to be the did anyone actually buy any records by mero or the thunderbugs next

I really loved this song. Parts of the video reminded me allot of Nsync's "bye bye bye" vid. I remember a boy in art class commented on the song. Something like "i hate this effing song! but its alright because we'll never hear of them again after this song" oh how right he was. lol

I think Showstopper is very lacklustre for a debut. :(
