If only they put these songs on jazz playlists, but they don't even do that. When Drake released Scorpion, the songs on the album even made gospel playlists.

If Drake's album consumption drops like this week, it'd do around 80k on the LFS release week. It's more likely to do 100k though.

 

However, according to Wikipedia, Meek Mill's album is out on Oct 1 so that'd be #1 with ease. His previous album did over 220k.

UK wise I wonder how this would’ve faired had it been released this week. Low key expect it could’ve potentially been this weeks #1 here given what the album mids are like this week.

 

I definitely think this will sell well in US however even if it doesn’t peak at #1 I can see it being a consistent seller over Q4. #1 would be a dream however but what will be will be I’m just happy she’s releasing something she’s clearly passionate about.

Yep they prepared 4 specials to milk the album this Christmas season... But I wanted a fat first week as there's no reason for them to want longevity for a 2021 jazz album, it's no longer 2014 where people were still going to stores buy physical copies and without streaming on their side this album is doomed to drastic drops in the charts.

 

They should have announced the album earlier and released the specials before the album came out, reserving the best of them for the album's debut week so they wouldn't have a hard time reaching #1.

Agree, the 60 Minutes episode and the documentary should have been planned for next week/release week.

 

The CBS special is fine on Thanksgiving Sunday, it fits the people's holiday mood.

Right? The album comes out in 8 days and we still don't have any dates for any of the specials they recorded. Gaga's career management is a neglect.

Irony doesn't work on me, but if I were Gaga's manager, she would only stop promoting a single when it hits the top 10.
