Great peaks around Europe so far!

And wait - #6 in the UK  I did not see that coming after it started the midweeks with that position too :o !!!

Both Cheek to Cheek and Love For Sale seemed to do better as the week went on in their debut weeks.

That £4.99 price reduction seemed to be a good move! I’m thrilled with #6 as it is essentially a jazz album and Tony Bennett’s personal album chart best here is #5 so it’s only one below that. And it’s beaten Cheek to Cheeks peak here in the UK. I’m really happy

I know certain fandoms will make out it’s a flop but with what kinda album it is it’s a massive success like there’s not many other females who could release a jazz covers album with a US icon and do any better is there.

Her UK albums top ten total is at 8 now on her artist page as well. (Should really be 9 but OCC credited ASIB soundtrack as Motion Picture on the albums chart).

05 6,585 Olivia Rodrigo - SOUR

06 6,370 Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga - Love for Sale

07 6,150 Hans Zimmer - No Time To Die (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

Close to top 5! Happy with that :yahoo:

Scotland making Ireland ashamed of its reception for the album
Is Tony Bennett the oldest male to have a UK Top 10 album??

Yep, he broke his own record

Tony Bennett

Tony Bennett is a jazz legend, and he showed he's got staying power when, aged 88 in 2014, his Cheek to Cheek collaborative album with Lady Gaga charted at Number 10 in the UK, making him the oldest gent to hit the Top 10

A legend indeed!

I think he is also the oldest person in general to have a top ten album with new recordings.

The Methuselah of music
