Billboard predicts “Love For Sale” to win “Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album” while being a strong contender to surprisingly win “Album of the Year”.

Tony and Gaga deserve so much more. I can't believe they're going to miss the opportunity to recognize Tony's 70-year career legacy on his last album to give the award to an album about teenage cheating :rolleyes:

I think "an album about teenage cheating" severely undermines Sour as an album.. it's a fair bit more than that, but even if it wasn't it's still an issue that affects so many people so why downplay it?

Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album definitely feels like the strongest chance of getting a win for this era and I’d take that as a result.

 

To even see this era nominated in some of the big categories like Album and Record of the year was more than enough exposure for me like I was happy enough with that and won’t at all feel disappointed if it didn’t win amongst those categories especially as it is a covers album too I’d much rather Gaga eventually win in that category with a future solo project.

 

I do think it may sneak another win however in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance award though. But whatever happens I think the fact Tony recorded his final body of work with Gaga and that they got to perform together one final time will mean more than an award (but I do hope they win in the Traditional Pop Vocal category).

Because cheating is a choice?! Sorry, but I don't romanticize lack of moral values/promiscuity. Winning album of the year for an album entirely about your ex-boyfriend who cheated on you would be embarrassing for the Grammys, let alone cheating among teenagers who don't know shit about love.

I don't see why my opinion would be a weird take, imagine if I said that all opinions I don't agree with are weird?

 

Also, about album of the year, solo or duet, it's still the same award and her name written on it forever, plus we don't know if she'll have another solid opportunity in the future like this time so we have to hope she wins, don't listen to fools.
