August 30, 20168 yr I absolutely loved everything about this, I was expecting it to be good but even exceeded my expectations. The visuals and soundtrack were my highlights as many people have said, love how in-your-face and colourful the layout of the game was and the music choices helped you get wrapped in the freedom of playing the game. The film itself was incredibly tense, your heart was in your mouth in the majority of the dares and it helps that the characters were so likeable and you didn't want anything to happen to them. Dave and Emma had great chemistry and they managed to sell the ending despite only knowing each other for one night. The ending was the only semi-disappointing thing about it, I feel like they could have actually killed Emma Roberts' character and it would have been more hard-hitting but I still liked the ending we got. It also would have been a good idea because it could have created a better franchise opportunity of following other Nerve contests in the future if it managed to get up and running again but they could still do that I guess if they want to make a sequel. August 31, 20168 yr As much as I ADORED this film, I can imagine a sequel to it being really underwhelming?
August 31, 20168 yr I think it needs a prequel more than it needs a sequel. We need to know more detail about the Seattle stuff y'know?
