When I realised it was going into 'Me, Myself and I', I worried for her because I thought that meant she would be miming to the original Bebe version! I'm glad that she did some vocals especially for the performance because, as Liam said, doing those specially recorded vocals helps add some life to it. Not that she didn't give it her all but I always find that miming over the normal studio version of the song brings any performance down because it makes it look odd.

Anyway, her performance was briefly mentioned on the news on the BBC. They were talking about the VMAs and all of Beyonces win and quickly mentioned that Britney doing a comeback performance and Rihanna winning the Lifetime award.

MTV were really idiotic in putting her after Beyonce's mini show.

MTV don't really owe anyone to provide them the best slot?

I just feel like they went all out on Beyonce (again) once they booked her, and Britney had the scraps. I mean the whole production behind her was amazing.

I really don't mind miming but why pre-record vocals for Me, Myself & I and not Make Me? It just sounds weird with the studio version. She sounded so great on Me, Myself & I

Apart from that I loved it, she looked great and omg her dancing has even improved since the Billboard Awards!

But it's not Beyonce's fault that she actually is the biggest and legendary and one of the most recognized performer of all time. She is just the best and throws everyone in water.

Britney's performances used to be as iconic as Beyonce's, but now is just fine for what she is these days...I guess someone from MTV really hates her for putting her right after Beyonce...joking.
