At the rate it's shooting up iTunes today, he could be coming for his first hit.

After giving it another listen it sounds like something that'll grow. Must admit I was confused about what to think when I first heard it as it sounded like both a decent deep house song and the type of singer-songwriter song I'd get bored of after a few weeks.

Just thought, they could be about to add some big female singers all in the same week:

 

Sia

Lady Gaga

Ariana

Zara

Beyoncé

 

I would have thought the first four of those would be almost dead certs this week!

 

And then by some miracle they could also playlist Danny/Carly...

They will add them all except Lady Gaga imo!

You don't think they'll support Gaga??

it wouldn't surprise me if Emeli is tomorrow's TOTD simply because it's her comeback single so Radio 1 have more to be excited about. Calvin will obviously be a TOTD at some point though.

It will be interesting to see who they give TOTD to actually, I can't call it! They loved Emeli last time round so it could easily be her, but then they bow down and kiss Calvin's feet at the moment too. Maybe we could see both entering on the a-list?
And interesting to see who will debut higher too. Albums wise, she would outsell him. His last album got beat to the top spot by a 5 month old album
Emeli is also doing a live lounge special too so could go either way in terms of support for ToTD

Never thought a battle for TOTD would be this exciting :lol:
