If I remember rightly though, didn't 'No Worries' get playlisted ridiculously long after its initial release?

That deserved better.

Correct!

Weekend TOTDs

Sampha - Blood On Me

James Arthur - Say You Won't Let Go

Yay! I expect James Arthur will be going on the playlist next week for sure then, I can see them either supporting this massively or giving it the Dancing On My Own treatment and kicking it under the table (not that it mattered for it lol)

Weird to make this TOTD on Sunday when usually it has zero effect :/ they could have waited til

What effect does it need to have though? It's already #1 on iTunes and Top 10 on Spotify.

The Sunday TOTD is normally something that will work well on Cel Spellman's show later on, and this fits the bill perfectly, that's all there is to it really.

TOTD Monday 26th September:-

Is 2016 the year Jason Derulo finally becomes irrelevant then? If It Ain't Love missed the top 40 and this new single doesn't look like it'll do anything.

TOTD 29/09/16

Kideko & George Kwali feat. Nadia Rose & Sweetie Irie - Crank It (Woah!)

Loving the TOTD's lately... we've had Sampha, Chase & Status, Usher and now the anthem that is 'Crank It' all in the last week!
Greg James has just said the new Niall Horan track wil be tomorrow's Track of the Day

I was expecting him to make the new Chainsmokers track tomorrow's TOTD and Niall Monday's TOTD

I wouldn't expect The Chainsmokers' track to be pushed at any time soon, remember Closer took ages to get playlisted by R1, and even then I'm fairly sure their hand was forced by the fact it was going to #1.
