ohhh Shake is too low, deserved much high than #10... Delilah is the best track of the last album, good placing and well-deserved

not a big fan of What the Water gave me, disappointing track like much of Ceremonials

 

Can't complain with the top 5, Delilah sneaking through is a bonus :wub:

Personal Opinion: This song just makes you want to clap along to the beat before the chorus to me their are two staple Florence songs that sound staduim ready This and Rabbit Heart. Well for the former as at Festivals its known she often finishes with this song in her sets. Its a great song I love the sound of the isturamental at the beginning (harp or guitar I think) and then going in to the opening lyric 'Happiness hit her like a train on a track'. I also think ot worked well in the 'Slumdog Millionaire' soundtrack so glad it received somewhat of a boost (even if it didnt go top 20 :cry:)

3. Cosmic Love

 

Average: 9.375

Highest Point: 11(Pavel, Dandy*, Bjork and HausOfTravis)

Lowest Point: 3.5 (Scene)

 

Personal Opinion: The Harps, The drums, The vocals. I can easily see why its loved here its such a feelgood track. My favourite part is the chorus for sure but the whole song is wonderfully put together. I gave it a 9 I mean is good and so worthy of top 3 placing but I personally prefer more of Lungs but that's just me. Its clear a lot of you love it.

Would prefer 'Queen of Peace' to win but really don't mind whatever happens. In fact I would have been happy with any of that Top 5, and even Top 6, winning! So happy that 'Delilah' managed to get Top 5 and that the Top 5 consists of songs from 'Lungs' & 'HBHBHB'.

 

I thought that 'Cosmic Love' might have managed the win but obviously that 3.5 damaged it.

ohhhh thought Cosmic Love was gonna win, a total 11 for me, and her best song ever

Excellent top 5 in general and the top four are all flawless in my opinion. I'd slightly prefer Queen of Peace to win but I'd have given Rabbit an 11 too if we were allowed more of them so I'll be happy enough if that wins too. ^_^

Rabbit Heart to win, would've preferred Dog Days Are Over but that's still a great song, kinda surprised Queen of Peace is this high, I like it but there are better album tracks from How Big... (like the title one :wub: Re-listening to that made me realise it's probably my favourite album from her, sounds so refined, especially after Ceremonials, which was rather weak in retrospect)

 

Mostly agreeable results (including the last placer), though What Kind of Man really should've top 10. (edit: excuse my blindness, should been top 5 then xx)

Personal Opinion: Yes classic florences comes second as soon as the harps play at the beginning of the song you can tell this is Florence and can regonise her as an artist. However this was actually the song that broke her in the UK. Peaked at 12 in UK single charts. The song itself is wonderful 100% in my top 10 of their songs just so great and such a staple track glad it finished top 2 not that I would have guessed it would :kink:

Florence took a big step forward with her last album, really her best by far and the 4 singles were all flawless and all a 10 to me.
