well if it was to chart it'd be next week, so it's not necessarily too much of a big deal I don't think

Weeknd & Daft Punk are releasing yay!!! bring it on. hang on... that's the #1 sorted till Xmas :drama: :lol: That would be amazing with just a handful of songs taking the #1 spot this year, that would be 8 in total, not counting Justin Bieber at the beginning of the year.

Weeknd is a big, hyped artist, who's album went to #1 last year, he's also a huge streaming juggernaut. Daft Punk also went straight to #1 with Get Lucky a couple of years back, when they had a similarly relevant feature (though weeknd is arguably more relevant now than PW was when GL first premiered). I'm not sure if this'll go to #1 next week, but I hope it's in with a chance - it's not rising as fast as I expected.

I also think it won't block James Arthur, nice tune but hardly on the same level as Get Lucky

I think it will be close - Its obviously going to come down to streaming. However its flying up I-tunes chart as barring the top 2/3 there's hardly that much between anything else

Combined, Weeknd is around #22 at the moment. Really expected it to be rising a lot faster though.
