Apparently there are 18 tracks on the album (please let it be 18 full tracks, I don't like interludes they're too indie and 90's for me).

The title will be approved of by my many Legion Of Super-Heroes fanfriends - I presume the lack of a space is enough to hold off any copyright issues over Star Boy.... :o In the same way as THE Karate Kid avoided Karate Kid copyright and Dream Girls, Dream Girl copyright.

 

 

So I take it the debut single is out tomorrow??

The last album didn't grab me at ALL but I have so much time for the Trilogy set and for some moments across 'Kiss Land' so I am intrigued for this. I need him to go back to what made him so special before he blew up.

Really looking forward to hearing the full project from him.

I'm not blown away but I really like it. I had the urge to play it twice (despite being late for class), so that must count for something?

 

It's already blowing up on US iTunes. My 3 faves all releasing albums this year and somehow I'm still alive ⚰

On first listen it's pretty good - I will be revisiting again.

Somehow even more terrible than the stuff from his previous album. Please stop.

'Beauty Behind the Madness' was shit but this is a step in the right direction for me, much more subtle. Definitely giving me 'Often' vibes, and that chorus 🔥

I'm going to start by being the first person to say I really like it. All the singles other than Often irritated me on the last album, so this is an improvement.
