Posted September 30, 20168 yr I'm surprised not to see a thread for this :o (unless I'm being blind) The legend that is Craig David released his long awaited 6th album today! The album features all his recent singles - When The Baseline Drops, Nothing Like This, One More Time and Ain't Giving Up. Overall it's a great album - such a good mix of 00s style R&B and more 2016 sounding songs. There's also a great rework of "Fill Me In" called "16" which is a mashup with "Where Are U Now". It works really well :o
September 30, 20168 yr I don't like his look in the cover...I used to remember him being very cute in 00's
September 30, 20168 yr I don't like his look in the cover...I used to remember him being very cute in 00's He is pretty much haggard now, comparatively.
September 30, 20168 yr Bought this today, the album I've most been looking forward to this year. Don't Go is already sounding HUGE.
September 30, 20168 yr f***ing haters of f***ing craig david suck my left testicle craig savid is not a f***ing w*n**r live for th craig david sesh
October 1, 20168 yr Oh I've heard '16' many times in da club ever since Craig's career revival and Justin's dominance last year! I thought it was just a mix someone had done, and not an actual song Craig had done!
October 1, 20168 yr Yeah it was a bootleg he performed at a 1Xtra session way back last year & caused such a storm it was played pretty much everywhere after. Fantastic to see it on the album as it was that performance which generated the hype ahead of his comeback track Bassline.
October 1, 20168 yr This album is a *tiny* bit bloated towards the end, the deluxe at least, but the first half of the album plus the Kaytranda and Hardwell songs are by and large excellent. Don't Go and 16 are incredible, the same standard as the singles released so far, I never knew I'd be so fond of a Craig David album, I haven't ever cared for him at all before his recent comeback!
October 3, 20168 yr Author Looking like a comfortable #1 album for him! What a comeback! Who'd have thought Craig David would have a #1 album and James Arthur a #1 single in the same week at the start of this year?!!! :o
October 3, 20168 yr I'm really hoping they go with 'Don't Go' as the next single and he gets an X-Factor performance. I think it could be really big!
October 4, 20168 yr Looking like a comfortable #1 album for him! What a comeback! Who'd have thought Craig David would have a #1 album and James Arthur a #1 single in the same week at the start of this year?!!! :o I am really enjoying and loving it  I need to listen though to both of them lol
October 4, 20168 yr Not there being a song on the album about a woman pregnant with a baby that ''couldn't be his'' ⚰. I feel like the only one who doesn't care about '16'? The original is fine (but not one of my David favorites) and the mashup doesn't have any replay value for me.
October 4, 20168 yr This is a surprisingly solid album, I never knew I'd like a Craig David album so much in 2016! 'Don't Go' is obviously a big song, but 'Change My Love' and 'Got It Good' are also a stand-outs. Only criticism is that there are too many songs on the deluxe version of the album, but I don't think I've ever heard any deluxe album that's not true of.
October 23, 20168 yr Change My Love has been confirmed as the next single. Sounds lifted straight out of 2002! Good he's releasing a more R&B single now though.
October 23, 20168 yr I thought '16' was doing pretty well on UK Spotify? It seems silly not to release that first. (Maybe there's copyright issues?)
