The IF thing, if not sexism, was probably a video message snub from Beyonce so the Brits threw their toys out the pram.

EVER?! :o

I woulda thought EE Lucy thread would have been 1.

The Eastenders threads get closed after 50 pages so as to not slow down the site. If not, they'd be miles ahead altogether

EVER?! :o

I woulda thought EE Lucy thread would have been 1.

Still, this thread's got over 400 more replies than last years BRITs thread got

The grime artists were only beaten by David Bowie in terms of who the Brits panel voted for, and its not as though those wins for Bowie were undeserved.

Breakthrough is voted for by Radio 1 listeners so blame them lmao.

ALSO, to add to this, the winners of British Female, International Male, International Female & International Group were all black and then 3/9 performers were black plus Stormzy's feature so I don't think there is any validation for lack of diversity comments in regards to this year's ceremony. Obviously it is an ongoing issue as it should hopefully continue in the following years.

Just because grime is popular in a growing section of society, doesn't mean the genre is guaranteed an award especially when there are so few awards in the first place. David Bowie's 'Blackstar' had an incredible level of critical acclaim and, as I said, Breakthrough is public voted.

Yeah I was going to say the same about Stormzy, the only one that's a bit dodgy is Rag'n'Bin Man beating him, when he shouldn't have even been nominated in that catagory. You can't really argue with Bowie.
