Now that "Power" has peaked into the top 10, they're more likely gonna include that on NOW 97 and NMSS will miss out

I think there's a chance of them both being featured. There's definitely room for both of them I think

Seems pretty likely we could get a song from each 1D member appearing on this volume.

Still Got Time- ZAYN & PARTYNEXTDOOR

Sign Of The Times- Harry Styles

Slow Hands- Niall Horan

Back To You- Louis Tomlinson feat. Bebe Rexha & Digital Farm Animals

Strip That Down- Liam Payne feat. Quavo

Should be a good amount of number 1s on this volume- especially considering the low number of them on Now 96 and 94.

There should be inclusions from-

Shape Of You- Ed Sheeran

Symphony- Clean Bandit feat. Zara Larsson

Sign Of The Times- Harry Styles

I'm The One- DJ Khaled feat. Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance The Rapper & Lil Wayne

Despacito (Remix)- Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee feat. Justin Bieber

Bridge Over Troubled Water- Artists For Grenfell

Could possibly get another number 1 if Wild Thoughts- DJ Khaled feat. Rihanna & Bryson Tiller is included.

DJ Khaled's Rihanna collab will most likely be saved for NOW 98 if his JB collab appears on NOW 97. To be honest, I don't mind what's on NOW 97 as long as there's no less than 44 tracks. 42 or 43 tracks should only be acceptable if there's no space for other tracks because they shouldn't leave a massive gap like they sometimes do

George Ezra - Don't Matter Now (not done that well so far, I am half expecting this to be in in-place of some big hit they randomly couldn't include though)

Maroon 5 (feat. Future) - Cold (quite old now and wasn't that big of a hit)

ALMA - Chasing Highs (wishful thinking that this'd get on but it could go either way)

I feel I didn't know any better I'd think that Disc 1 was the real thing  Not sure about 5AM, Neiked, Maroon 5, or KYLE on Disc 2 though.

I think Imagine Dragons - Thunder has more chance of being on there than the others especially since it's doing well on both sales & streams with high likelihood of Top 30. I think in terms of "future hits" Dua Lipa - New Rules & Starley - Touch Me could have a shot at appearing over old/small chart "hits" like Maroon 5, Zayn & NMSS

All things considered that's a very good tracklisting Dan.

My only change would be to see Heatstroke included as it's my favourite from the new era and very Summery.

Notable Omissions

Future - Mask Off (too explicit)

Katy Perry - Swish Swish (not big enough this time to warrant two inclusions in one volume)

oh I just remembered I forgot to include Kygo's 'First Time' so let's pretend I'm predicting that to be a shock omission x.

"Mask Off" has a clean version otherwise R1 wouldn't be playing it at all

"Swish Swish" may get an appearance instead of "Bon Appétit" because it's more recent

Kygo & Ellie may get an appearance. Let's not forget that his Kodaline collab missed the top 40 in total and appeared on NOW 94

You forgot "No More Sad songs". I have a feeling that it will miss out in favour of "Power" as "Power" is more recent and made the top 10

No he didn't, it's there on Disc 2 and I agree that it should be included.

I meant he forgot to include "No More Sad Songs" on the list of songs which are more likely to miss out

Edited by Hadji

I don't see why Little Mix won't get a double appearance. This is their biggest era yet and it was a much bigger hit than some of the non top 40s that will inevitably end up making it.

Little Mix will definitely have a double appearance, it's not like NMSS was a flop single or left the chart ages ago.

It could go either way for Katy but my bet's on Bon Appetit because it peaked higher in the chart.

Think 5AM and NEIKED have a very good chance of being the token 'future hits', even though the former isn't likely to end up being a hit (I wouldn't put it past Syco to payola 5AM onto the album or however it works).

I've taken ALMA and Maroon 5 out my predictions and replaced with Kygo/Ellie and Imagine Dragons.

It's a considerable pool actually.

Stargate might appear due to his appearance on NOW Summer Party 2017 but saying that, it probably won't seeing as Vaults appeared on NOW Mum but not on NOW 96

Kygo & John Newman is coming soon too, if that's released in the next week or two then it might make the track list instead of First Time. Same for Zedd & Liam Payne too.

"ISpy" has done better than some songs on that list. As for "Versace On The Floor", that will most likely be saved for NOW 98 depending on how it does but with the normal version: the David Guetta remix will probably appear on one of their dance spin offs if they do one. I can't see Kendrick Lamar having an appearance as he seems like the type of artist who disallows their music from appearing on compilations.
