Therein lies the problem I think with these odds and predictions threads, not in all cases but at least some I feel when there is an overwhelming negative response or reaction to an entry and many people predict it to DNQ it gives little incentive to the sender to vote for anyone else's entries and it's understandable that they may quietly choose to withdraw from the contest based on negative feedback.

When both long songs qualify what will everyone try to do next month...

The project was launched by Cesare 'Black Mighty Wax' Cera, Irma Records producer and label manager, together with some of the musicians who have contributed to develop the label profile over the years. Formed to pull together live collaborators and contributors from various Irma Records releases, they went on to release their defining 18-track album To the Sky in 1999, spanning funk, disco, nu-jazz, and soulful house. Ocean Beach is one of the group’s standout tracks, capturing the relaxed spirit of a coastal sunset with warm percussion, gentle flute melodies, and soulful jazz influences. If someone is/has confirmed from NMF today after the window closed it does seem a little unfair to those who confirmed on time and wouldn't have been allowed to pick from those unreleased tracks at the time. Just a thought.
