I don't think it'd make any difference Hadji, she doesn't like her songs being on there regardless.

If she was a featured artist, she would have no say in the matter because it's not her song, she only features on it. One example, Rihanna: she doesn't like her music appearing on compilations but "This Is What You Came For" appears on compilations because it's Calvin Harris' song which means it's up to him

Clearly the Spotify playlist effect has really helped them (they're within the first ten songs of Hot Hits UK), it could potentially out-peak 'Wake Up' in the new year too. :o
I hope they recognise why All Night is doing so well, and put the next single onto Hot Hits UK immediately when the time comes for that! Really excited to think this can get a top 20 peak :D
Mariah will go to #2 on spotify tomoro and #1 on Monday (for Sunday's streams) I think
Was MR added to an important playlist? That climb (67 spots) is huge!

Yep. It was added to a playlist that has 1.2M followers. Forgot the name.

Do people not shuffle these playlists? Bar the first few songs for those who do start from the beginning, the rest should be on more or less an even playing field for promo from a playlist.

The US Spotify chart is insane  I wonder if we will ever see something like it happen here

wow who knew J. Cole was that popular in the US? Literally has all of the top nine and also #11.

Ed Sheeran could potentially do that with his next album here.

Is she only 6 after Friday's?

Not great - I thought she would have been no1/2 after that and on course for 50k sales this week

Surprised me too, especially seeing 'Deja Vu' as the #1. Maybe the Exchange sample explains that? J. Cole has become almost second to Kendrick in terms of credible, thoughtful male rappers in the US though recently.
