Well this is Rob's debut album and has always been my all time favourite. It is so raw and alot more rock than any of his other albums which is one of the reasons I love it so much. Their is'nt a bad song on it and it has so many amazing ballads :wub:

 

And of course the one and only "Angels" came off this album. When It was first released it made top 10 but did'nt sell a huge amount. The first 2 singles did well (Old Before I die reached #2 and Lazy Days #8) but the 3rd single "South of the border" failed to make the top 10. But once he released Angels all changed. The album shot to #1 and Angels sold almost a million copies in the UK. ^_^

 

The 5th single "Let me entertain you" remains one of Rob's most well known anthems and his live performances of this song are legendary B) The video saw Rob dress up as Kiss which Rob sees as being his best video to date.

 

Personally the fact that IC beat this album is just ridiculous. IC is just plain boring in comparrison and contains no truely classic songs that Rob will be remembered for 20 years from now. LTAL contains loads :wub:

I love IC to. It was a vast improvment on Escapology but compared to LTAL and IBEY it's just boring and cotains no truely memerable pop songs <_<

Well altough I love this album and never skip a single song I think it's a crime it has beaten both LTAL & IBEY <_< It contains no truely classic pop songs that Rob will be remembered for. As far a lyrics go it's brilliant and does have some really good songs, Trouble with me, APTC, Tripping to name a few ^_^

 

It is the first album Rob wrote without Guy Chambers. Stephen Duffy co-wrote it and although many say It is more Duffy influenced that Robbie I think it's more Robbie than his previous album. He was clearly heavily involved in this and wrote alot of the music as well as all the lyrics and he has said it feels like his first solo album ^_^

 

The first single, Tripping was a massive worlwide hit. It was #1 is loads of countries but only made #2 in the UK. It did however outsell Radio (which made #1) by a large margin ^_^ Other single were Advertsing Space which reached #8 and Sin Sin Sin which is Rob's worst selling single to date and only managed to make #22 <_< It got zero promo and the video only started to get shown a few days before the release but still very bad :( A place to crash should've been a single. It would've been a big hit imo -_-

 

The album is Rob's best selling album worlwide selling nearly 7 million but in the UK remains his lowest selling and has sold less than 1.7 million. :rolleyes:
