Blackbird is like a song Sarah McLachlan rejected in 1998, yet it’s still probably the best of the lot!

Early Spotify numbers have My First Band clearly ahead, with Emma in second - my favourite two so that bodes well so far! I imagine Emma will be much more loved by the juries than My First Band will be also.

The running order is allegedly

1. Emma: Circle Of Light

2. Alva: Arrows

3. Günther & D’Sanz: Love Yourself

4. Anni Saikku: Reach Out For The Sun

5. Knucklebone Oscar & The Shangri-La Rubies: Caveman

6. Norma John: Blackbird

7. Lauri Yrjölä: Helppo elämä

8. Club La Persé: My Little World

9. Zühlke: Perfect Villain

10. My First Band: Paradise

This seems like Emma (i.e. the only good song in this mix) has a bad draw but people have won from first on in Finland before so it's not impossible. Still mildly annoyed at the My First Band pimping though.

This is now 95% certain to go the way of DMGP 2015/16 but at least My First Band is better than the two Danish boyband winners.

How on earth did Zühlke get 3rd?!?

I'm certain it is a two-horse race now, surely you prefer Emma over My First Band!!
Having listened quickly to them all, I think Emma is my favourite but she does come across quite Poundland Greta Salome  Not a great crop this year. My First Band indeed, what an apt name :/

Of course! Emma is my third fave whilst the only song that's worse than My First Band is that Caveman bollocks.

I like Emma and My First Band so would be satisfied with either, but I wish "Paradise" had a bit more oomph / flow between the chorus which I really like and the verses which are letting it down.

Voting
The voting will be a 50/50% split between an international jury and the televote. The countries represented in the international jury will be Estonia, France, Iceland, Israel, Latvia, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine and the United Kingdom. The overall televote will be a combination of online votes cast throughout this month as well as votes cast online and via phones during the show itself. The current vote standings can be seen here.

The Favourites
It is widely predicted this will be a race between two acts. Unibet have Emma as 1/2 favourite. She has been odds-on favourite for weeks but has lost momentum in the final few days, although the fact she is currently winning the online vote which counts to the final vote will be a positive for her. Emma is now closely followed by My First Band at odds of 2/1. The boyband have arguably the biggest fanbase and label behind them and have also been awarded the final running order slot, they have also been winning votes cast by juries in various preview shows aired by YLE. Nevertheless, they do have a deficit to catch up in the televote as things stand. Unibet have Norma John as the only other possible winner at odds of 7/2, everyone else is 8/1 or worse. Do watch out for Zühlke who currently stands at 3rd in the televoting and has been drawn in the penultimate slot.
It seems William wiwibloggs is the UK jury spokesperson and presumably part of the UK jury too, and he's an a Emma fan :cheer: :kink:

Starting now with Krista Siegfrids performing a song called 'UMG Bitch' *.*
Most probably going to be better than most of the songs in this final, but that's the best start I can remember for the UMK's I've watched (not that I have a particularly strong memory of most of them).
Had some trouble with the live stream but I am here. The web part of my tv is crap so Lap top it is.

She went a bit off time at one point but it was a strong finish. It's certainly the best of the 'serious' entries.
