March 10, 20178 yr They're clearly going for a run of popping out the least interesting possible pieces of music. There is nothing about this that makes me want to hear it ever again.
March 10, 20178 yr This is fine but it's never going to qualify. Only perk is I know the guy with the curly hair in the vid. He's on Red Rock. Molly Sterling still deserved to qualify :( Still an unjust DNQ. Such a nice song. :(
March 12, 20178 yr When was the winning song picked, i thought they would have 4-5 songs performed by him and the public pick the winner? Did they just select this internally?? Its ok, the second half is better than the first but another year where we probably wont qualify. Really disappointed with the outcome of this.
March 13, 20178 yr This is boring as f*** and I'm not going to pretend to give it more attention than it deserves which is very close to zero.
March 15, 20178 yr Similar to the Uk entry this year i find this boring. I like ballads but these dont really go anywhere although the Uk song is stronger than ours. I cant see us qualifying this year at all,its prob our worst entry in a while and i expected so much more. I agree what others have said about Molly Sterling, she should have qualified as its a lovely song but i do think the awful staging on the night didnt help.
March 15, 20178 yr It's depressing how similar the commentary for the Irish entry is year after year.
March 16, 20178 yr Can't remember which semi final this in, or which half, or who its competition is, but this has last place sewn up with the juries and public. Absolutely abysmal.
April 2, 20178 yr I agree this will tank in the semi, its a case of how bad it does, the only thing i will find interesting is Louis Walshes reaction when it does bomb, i really cant figure out how anyone could even think this would do anything, its safely our worst ever entry. I was listening to Sinaed Mulvey etcetera early today i always liked this and really think it was robbed when it didnt qualify, that really should have qualified and likewise although to a lesser extent Molly Sterling 2 years ago.
May 8, 20178 yr Not that i think our song will come higher than 15th in its semi but its a very bad sign when our 1994 winner is charting higher on itunes than our current entry.
May 8, 20178 yr It is understandable as the song is awful. I don't think he has a great voice either. If the country its representing does not get behind the song it is likely other countries wont either.
May 9, 20178 yr Per Sundnes kicked out of the Norwegian jury after complaints from the Irish jury I think it's weird no one learned from the Wiktoria situation last year.
May 9, 20178 yr You would think he would know better than speaking out when he knows the rules. It is not really a surprise what he said about the song as that appears to be a universal viewpoint.
May 9, 20178 yr I've not heard a song more woeful and dire this year. It's putrid. Defo my 42nd this year, no mean feat given there is also Croatia in the mix.
May 9, 20178 yr The song has Simon Cowell and X Factor winning song all over it, i am more referring to the awful winners single by Louisa Johnson only, this has managed to be worse.
May 10, 20178 yr I really think we could come last in our semi as it's probably our worst entry ever.
May 10, 20178 yr So, am I the only one who likes this song really? :o The song has commercial appeal, I like his childish voice  and I can see people around Europe voting for him. Let's wait and see. :P
May 10, 20178 yr I like it too! I was kinda hoping for better but I love his vocal (and did in HomeTown too). Would be nice to see it Q but I can't see it right now, so not getting my hopes up.
