As you can tell, I've been making sure each country has a thread and last but not least is Azerbaijan. We've heard literally nothing from Ictimai TV as usual, and we probably won't hear anything until the first week of March 2017.

I presume they will stick to their formula of a Swedish import, and that's fine by me as they have a fine back catalogue as a result and we have their Caucasus neighbours to provide the more out-there entries! I would love another "Always" though which was a perfect mix of ethno-pop and Scandi polish.

Diana Hajiyeva (aka. Dihaj) has been announced as their representative. She took part in the national selection in 2011 and was a backing vocalist for them this year!

I knew I recognised her, Cameron sent her to the first Worldvision, Buzzjack yet again the inspiration for entries.

Well this is an interesting move, I wasn't expecting anything for another 3 months - literally. She seems like a very interesting artist too, not someone who will sing a typical Scandipop song. I feel like Azerbaijan are in it for the win again this year after a couple of misses success-wise.
Miracle should have done better had Samra been well enough to sing at her best! (Which I still doubt would have been amazing  )

This is out there and called Skeletons. That is of course an amazing title and therefore it is an amazing song, super-electro mid tempo pop with big chorus - I wonder if this clashes with Blanche slightly and plays to a similar niche but it's another great entry from Azerbaijan. The song involves Sandra Bjurman for those interested!

(I think everyone should do internal selections in future based on the strength of the reveals this week!)

Great song but like Ryan says, gonna eat into Belgium's votes a bit, especially being in the same half of the same semi.

I wouldn't really say this is giving Belgium much competition. There's not much of a hook and given Azerbaijan's previous form in selecting artists with...varied singing ability, some of those sections are giving me cause for concern.
This is nothing like Belgium so i don't follow the comparisons tbh. Moreover, it pisses on Belgiums entry from a huge ass tower. *.*
Wanted to get behind this but kind of found myself getting getting increasingly bored throughout the song. Meh.
Oh my god, this is absolutely incredible!

I've settled on this as my fave of the year tbh, absolutely f***ing epic <3 I hope this can do well, I'm unsure about it but we'll see.
