lol I think its clear that Jody Latham definitely did pull out because I think its cheating to call Jedward '2 new housemates' when they are one official housemate. I was just thinking earlier as well that it was odd that they managed to keep the second new housemate a secret when everyone else had been revealed. :')

 

Jedward plugging their new single was one of the most bizarre entrances. I think Channel 5 must have given them that extra half hour show in order to help Lip Sync Battle's ratings but, without an eviction, Channel 5 were unsure how to fill it which is why there was that half-arsed nominations thing (can't even call it a twist anymore because its the usual).

 

Jedward can be incredibly annoying because they have no respect but I do think they can bring some fun in there and it'll be interesting to see how people like Speidi and James J react to that uncontrollable and unnormal behaviour.

 

What is worse than Jedward though is there large legion of deluded fans who think they're incredibly talented and produce amazing and moving songs.

That watergate was ridiculous and it reminded me how much I dislike Austin, especially drunk Austin (dunno if they had alcohol or not at the party but his behaviour was very much like when he was drunk before). He was getting angry and dramatic over nothing and it reeks of trying to get screen time. It also reminded me how annoying Spencer is because once he knows someone is annoyed at him, he just goes and goes and goes and goes at them.

 

It is funny that the bottled water brand is one of the product placement sponsors though! Nothing fishy there... :)

Also, have we seen that Nicola McLean did her first series for free? :lol:

 

Narinder Kaur (BB2 & Brian Dowlings friend) initially said it after Nicola's launch night comment but I didn't believe it. However, Denise Welch basically hinted at it on BOTS as well as Rylan. There's also Katie Price saying last year that she knew someone who went in for £1,500 and I think her and Nicola know each other.

Omg exactly, I was kind of thinking they'd got someone great and were keeping it secret, especially because the Big Brother account tweeted a clue and it looked like a blonde woman's hair alongside Jedward's ears and mouths. I really thought Katie Price and I know she's not everyone's favourite or the most explosive housemate ever but personally I love her and she is a big name (not that name really matters that much, but still it's nice). Especially when they kept saying HOUSEMATES, I know Jedward are technically two people but they're counted as one. If they knew Jody Latham always pulled out they could just have said a new HOUSEMATE because Jedward are one housemate...

As for Ray J, what a f***ing bore :drama: As has been said, it's always about Whitney or Kim, at least Stacy has some amusing moments. The highest fee EVER, for that... I really hope he doesn't come close to winning, I don't really dislike him as such there's just not a lot to him. Then again, with this seemingly being the Spieid and Austin show, there doesn't seem to be much to any of them at the minute!!

The fact Ray J is C5's most highly paid celebrity EVER is just taking the absolute piss :lol:

Speidi are my favourites of course, and I'm liking they are playing it differently this time round. Surprisingly there's no-one I particularly dislike at this stage either. Brandon and James C are very quiet, Calum and Austin have their annoying moments but no-one has been too bad just yet.

That'll be Stacy gone first :/ It would be absolutely hilarious if it was Ray J given he's the highest paid.

 

 

I don't get the fuss for James C, boring isn't the word :drama: But everyone seems to be spaffing over him. I agree though there isn't anyone really to love this time, Bianca is closest for me for being lovely and really likable but she feels like more 3rd or 4th favourite level than first, if that makes sense. It's odd because I don't have the "I must turn this off" feeling, it's just... dull. I think now I'm back at uni I'll fall behind and probably not bother if I miss episodes, but just catch up with what's going on.

Well Austin has just crossed into dislikable but only 1 so far is pretty good! Tom getting more airtime than Brandon though and Tom isn't even in the house :kink:

 

Yeah I think Stacy will be gone too, but could see Angie and James C in trouble as the older housemates always tend to struggle for votes. Stacy has at least had a lot of airtime so it may translate into enough votes to just save her in a 6-way vote.

James C is going nowhere :lol: For some reason everyone seems to think we have a "real celebrity" who is "interesting". Ryan is right that older housemates struggle with votes often, but I think Angie is more likely to falter and be evicted than James. I know it's not representative, but people on the Facebook page seem to love the fact he is a "real celebrity" and on forums other than this one he seems quite popular.

 

 

This series is pretty disastrous though... As you say, so much potential, I almost feel like for once I want them to stir a bit and do "who said this" tasks etc. In the last civillian series for example, that sort of thing happened way too much but here I'm kind of crying out for it :lol:

I like James C and I really hope that he stays which I think he will do. Yeh, he's not the most entertaining housemate because he's not in your face like Austin, Speidi or Stacy but I think he just needs more time to shine and he'll do so when the house gets smaller. I'm keen to hear more of his stories.

 

The series isn't the most exciting but, at the same time, it's also kind of like what the Channel 4 series were like which is what everyone has been wanting! For the most part, the producers are actually letting things happen naturally which is great to see and is what I've been wanting to happen for a long time. I'm thrilled that there's been no home truth tasks or who said this because they just got beyond a joke last year when it was happening every single day. They're starting to crack in there, which is the natural time to do so and its going to get more interesting as it goes along. We're just so used to everything kicking off on the first day now that this slower pace is unusual. I think this series is on for 5 weeks as well so we've still get plenty of time to get some good moments.

 

I really hope Austin goes even though it won't happen although there is a small chance considering its a different series and he doesn't exactly have a fanbase. He's just a horrible person as particularly shown every time he gets drunk.

I do think if it's going to be a shock (ie not Angie, Stacy or possibly James I guess), it will be Austin. I don't think it will happen right now exactly because him and Speidi have by far the most airtime out of those up for eviction, but I think he'll be like 3rd or 4th out. If he keeps on as he is, he's gonna be nominated every time surely, and there will probably come a time pretty soon when it ends up as him, Speidi and Calum or something, in which case he'd go. The James bromance seemed to give him a nice storylne last series but he's being defined by shouting at Speidi and nothing else this time around.
