December 17, 20168 yr Albums: Haven't heard Blurryface, but I love How To Be A Human Being and Wild World (I even have a vinyl copy of the former) H8TCHART: Don't remember the Nathan tracks One Call Away [5.0] Meh for me Dancing On My Own [5.0] Meh, as well Get Ugly [5.0] Yet another meh Flex [haven't heard] Juju On That Beat [??] Millionaire [5.5] As for MILF Money and Sucker For Pain (two songs that I didn't put in a "meh", "haven't heard" or "don't remember" category): MILFS [4.0] Sucker For Pain [7.5]
December 17, 20168 yr Mostly in agreement with your hatechart bar One Call Away/Milf/Flex so good picks on the whole! Hope the mess of Sucker For Pain wins here! Into You being on yoyr considerations list for worst of the year   One of my top 5 this year probably!
December 18, 20168 yr Hi mdh Hoping Sucker for Pain isn't #1 because I actually really like it, it has a well catchy chorus and some of the lyrics are just *-* Do it for the fam dawg indeed. As for Milf $, it was kind of terrible and definitely a bit messy/all over the place. A shame when Fergie is capable of the likes of Big Girls Don't Cry and Glamorous which are of course, 10/10 moments. The video was great though and loved seeing Kim K in it :D
December 19, 20168 yr Author Not 'All In My Head' appearing here  The others are quite awful though, even the Jason Derulo one I don't come back to though I did like it for a few weeks it didn't age well I predict DO IT FOR THE FAM DAWG at #1 :mansoncheer: Hi :D Yeah you may be right :heehee:
December 19, 20168 yr Author Dancing On My Own isn't that bad :( And I really like Millionaire as well! The rest are all just a bit generic (except Juju On That Beat, which really isn't good) Predicting Sucker For Pain at #1 oh it is ;o You also may be correct :heehee:
December 19, 20168 yr Author Hi!! I kinda love that Millionaire track, it is very cheap Galantis but it's still really joyous and does put me in a good mood. Nelly is a huge guilty pleasure too, it's like Flo Rida where you can't help but love it  NOOOO at you hating Flex as well, legit one of my favourite pop tracks this year. So damn catchy and swaggy, don't be disappointed in me when you see it near the top of my EOY :heehee: hey :D Yeah I just found it too tacky and generic to get into :( Shame really as I have been a fan of some of Cash Cash and Digital Farm Animals' stuff in the fast - as well as Nelly who used to be a fave. It is quite swaggy, but to be honest the main reason I hate it is because the person I hate the most at school is (still) obsessed with it, kind of put a dampner on things :heehee:

Is it really catchy? Lmao I usually like Imagine Dragons but I just couldn't get into it. Plus the raps are all absolutely horrible, each to their own though ^_^ Oh yes, and the brilliant L.A Love, which deserved to be so much bigger and not overshadowed by the 'Ebola' parody.

Into You being on yoyr considerations list for worst of the year   One of my top 5 this year probably! Yeah it was very close at the top - you'll find out in a minute :heehee: I just got so fed up of hearing it time and time again everywhere I went - Ariana does tend to be very hit and miss for me these days, wish we got another 'Problem', I'd love that
December 19, 20168 yr Author Albums: Haven't heard Blurryface, but I love How To Be A Human Being and Wild World (I even have a vinyl copy of the former) H8TCHART: Don't remember the Nathan tracks One Call Away [5.0] Meh for me Dancing On My Own [5.0] Meh, as well Get Ugly [5.0] Yet another meh Flex [haven't heard] Juju On That Beat [??] Millionaire [5.5] As for MILF Money and Sucker For Pain (two songs that I didn't put in a "meh", "haven't heard" or "don't remember" category): MILFS [4.0] Sucker For Pain [7.5] Good to see most of them being neutral for you - lets hope the #1 is your preference/least fave :D
December 19, 20168 yr Author 2. Fergie - M.I.L.F $ HATE MONTH - I can't even remember when it came out but probably like July or something? - I f***ing HATE this. Any other year this would have been #1. I feel as though this is Fergie trying to be relevant by making a $l*t-pop song on cocaine. I'm so glad this did f*** all in the charts, she can't rap or sing and the video is downright stupid. I really hope she never releases music anything like this ever again because she CAN make some great tunes, see L.A Love for example, which was absolutely brilliant. 1. Lil Wayne ft Shit rapper, shit rapper, shit rapper, good indie band that've obviously been kidnapped and forced to make shite music & loads more awful monstrosities - Sucker For Pain HATE MONTH - Perpetual dislike. - Here's the #1! And we all knew it would be #1. Every single week I used to dread this coming on on the chart and it seemed to get worse every week. Words cannot describe how much I despise this song. It's without a doubt the worst thing I have EVER heard, my hatred for it is so strong I seem to feel an overwhelming urge to projectile vomit while writing about it right now. Lil Wayne needs to either promptly die of natural causes or just leave the music scene forever at this point, Sucker For Pain is that bad. - I would rather suffer anal prolapse while being baked in an industrial sized oven and having a brain aneurism simultaneously than ever have to listen to this again. Well done Lil Wayne, you're this years Hatechart #1 :cheer:  :D :cheer:
December 19, 20168 yr Author The LOVECHART, the one that matters and doesn't get me angry will begin later this afternoon when I return from the dentist. Speculate who you think will do well below ^_^ Thanks for all the comments so far btw. Hatechart in full~ 10. Nathan Sykes ft G-Eazy - Give It Up 9. Nathan Sykes - Famous 8. Charlie Puth - One Call Away 7. Calum Scott - Dancing On My Own 6. Jason Derulo - Get Ugly 5. Fifth Harmony ft Fetty Wap - Flex [All In My Head] 4. Zay Hilfigerr & Zayion McCall - Juju On That Beat 3. Digital Farm Animals & Nelly ft Cash Cash - Millionaire 2. Fergie - M.I.L.F $ 1. Lil Wayne - Death
December 19, 20168 yr I can't say I'm surprised with that being at #1 :P I'm not a fan myself either, I don't hate it but I didn't put it in my weekly top 100 at any point.
December 19, 20168 yr The top 4 is really awful. So, I agree with you on those songs. On the other hand, Nathan and Charlie Puth don't deserve to be in this top 10 list. :(
December 19, 20168 yr Author So without further ado, let's begin with the 163 best songs of the year, ranked meticulously by yours truly! All of these tracks are brilliant, and I hope you have some throwbacks and make some discoveries out of them ^_^ 163. C4 - See Me There LOVE MONTH - JANUARY - Reppin'. These guys are a rap group from Birmingham, my endz - and I discovered them at the start of the year thanks to MLHammer. This is a delicious rap/garage bop, real homegrown feel to it and it was a shame it never made a dent in the 1 Xtra playlist - it deserved so much more. 162. Hey Violet - Fuqboi LOVE MONTH - SEPTEMBER - FLOOOOOP. Oops. Still was in total certainty that this would be a massive BJSC smash, like top 10 levels. And it finished last. Well done Myles/mdh. Still, I find this a really infecious jam, I guess it's also flopped in this countdown too but what can I say, at least it didn't finish last here :P 161. TIEKS ft Dan Harkna - Sunshine LOVE MONTH - JUNE/AUGUST - Ahh I love this  Such a lovely, bubbly summer track I discovered in the late spring, it was such a nice surprise to see this blow up - a first hit for both of these British artists. Somewhat of the soundtrack to the summer in the UK, this was absolutely huge and will certainly be remembered as one of the songs of the summer by me  LEAVE A COMMENT - What's your opinion on the songs featured above? :D
December 19, 20168 yr Author The top 4 is really awful. So, I agree with you on those songs. On the other hand, Nathan and Charlie Puth don't deserve to be in this top 10 list. :( Yay I'm glad we're in agreement :D Charlie and Nathan HAVE made good tunes, just these were awful ;)
December 19, 20168 yr Author I can't say I'm surprised with that being at #1 :P I'm not a fan myself either, I don't hate it but I didn't put it in my weekly top 100 at any point. Haha, neither (back when I did a 75 biweekly :o)
December 20, 20168 yr I think 'Alone' would've got vetoed in the end, about 10 people already knew and loved it when mdh starting hyping it in his national thread. 'Sunshine' is a big jam  will be appearing in my EOY thread shortly. I don't think I could ever do a top 75 (or 100) bi-weekly, it takes long enough as it is doing it once a week :P
December 20, 20168 yr Author Lmao "Alone" would have certainly done better Yeah I know, at this point I'm relatively certain it would have been a veto though - I guess maybe if I'd have kept quiet about it the panel might have let it slip through :heehee: Oh well, the past is in the past.

Ooh yay - I was really happy to see it do so well  No I don't know how I did it to be honest! I always used to find the motivation from somewhere, but I'm happy now not doing a chart and just judging my faves in my brain. There was no formula to calculate this EOY, just all the songs I could remember I loved off the top of my head. :D
