“The machinery of the music industry makes me sick, and I pray for escaping from it as soon as possible†says the 32 year old to “Spiegel†magazine according to a pre-announcement on Saturday. On stage he is an exceptionally gifted clown and heart-breaker. With his now album Robbie Williams opens the second chapter of his career. The “lusty² pop doll†(Williams about Williams) wants to be taken serious as an artist finally.

Williams is among the most gifted artists on this planet. Just as well he fills out the role as pop-martyr so heart breaking, as no one has since Kurt Cobain. “First you do everything to go ahead. And then you need to struggle to survive this madness.†Says Williams to the SPIEGEL.**

This is pretty shocking but I am delighted. EMI are an awful record company and always have been. :smoke:
How many albums does he still have to complete in his EMI contract?

He is going through the contract extremly quickly so my guess is we will be getting another new album this time next year :D

It's great for the fans :D

EMI must be well pissed of cause Rob is their biggest solo act

He could always release an album of B-Sides and finish his contract even quicker. <_<

oh geez so i guess if i wanna see him again i gotta fly to england  ...like that isnt too hard to do

No. I can't see him doing another Tour on this scale anyway. And if it's going to affect his health as much as it seems to have done then I'd rather he didn't to be honest.

I'm still hoping for a few dates here and there. But I'm kind of resigned to the fact I may not see him 'Live' again...

oh im sure after a long rest next year he'll tour britain again but i doubt he'll go to many other places

He'll probebly do a smaller tour in a few years. Germany will definatly be included since he is as big there as in the UK

It will be very interesting to see what happens anyway. You never know though, he could always sign with Sony BMG with Simon Cowell and have Louis Walsh as his manager

Oh God save us. :o

He'd better get a stool looked out then.
