Posted October 8, 200618 yr Well, its a bit of a quiet week so lets see what woolies are doing: SINGLES 1. My Chemical Romance :cheer: 8. Blazin Squad  9. Beatfreakz 12. Badly Drawn Boy 18. Corinne Bailey Rae Interesting. I don't think MCR will get to number one, but will be the highest new entry in the top 3 probably. Blazin squad... surely all their fans have grown out of their chav band phase by now which should lead them to miss the top 10. Beatfreakz are about right, I think! Nothing too major they're not selling though its a shame they're not stocking Jack Savoretti - he's had a fair bit of radio play! ALBUMS 5. Connie Fisher 20. Luther Vandross 23. Bobby Darin 30. Trivium 38. Chris De Burgh 39. Sting 41. Steve Brookstein Nothing to shout about really, is there?
October 8, 200618 yr Blazin Squad in the top 10  I'll be seeing Pigs flying if it does next week, not bleeding likely. I like to see MCR #1, but its not going to happen with its download position at 23, Corinne and Beatfreakz look about right, Badly Drawn Boy, I didn't know he had a single coming out.
October 8, 200618 yr Author Blazin' Squad are back together? 4 of them are. Not the 3 that were in Friday Hill though... or 3 of the others!
October 8, 200618 yr 4 of them are. Not the 3 that were in Friday Hill though... or 3 of the others! OK  I didn't know that, surely they can't be the same band with 6 less members?
October 8, 200618 yr Connie Fisher and Steve Brookstein has a new album :o love the first single think i might have to check that out B)
October 8, 200618 yr It's a dead week and no Placebo! They're definitely gonna suffer a bit now. :( 1. My Chemical Romance - I think this could miss the top 10 now downloads have slumped. I can't see it selling many physicals to be honest. 8. Blazin Squad - This will miss the top 40 completely. 9. Beatfreakz - I'd like to see it this high, but lower top 20 is more realistic. 12. Badly Drawn Boy - Low top 40. 18. Corinne Bailey Rae - About right, maybe a bit higher I'd have thought.
October 8, 200618 yr I had to go over to the hmv site to see who Connie Fisher is, apparently she's that talent show winner from that Maria programme on BBC1.
October 9, 200618 yr Hmm...I think all of those songs will end up lower... Top 5 will look like this: 1. Scissor Sisters (2) 2. Razorlight (1) 3. David Hasselhoff (3) 4. Bob Sinclar (5) 5. My Chemical Romance (23) I can't see Razorlight making 2 weeks at No.1...could be The Hoff though-tough to call...
October 9, 200618 yr :o at how quickly they put the Connie Fisher album out. :o I suppose they're striking while the iron's hot!
October 9, 200618 yr It is a strange week for releases isn't it! The only song out of them I am loving is MCR  IIt's freekin awesome!
October 9, 200618 yr Author :o at how quickly they put the Connie Fisher album out. :o I suppose they're striking while the iron's hot! Apparently it's the fastest anyone's ever got an album together!
October 9, 200618 yr I'm surprised they are not stocking Hot Chip, it should make a splash in the top 20 for sure
October 9, 200618 yr Good summary Dazzle. No idea about blazing Squad, they could shock us yet. On the Albums these stars have fallen. 38. Chris De Burgh 39. Sting 41. Steve Brookstein
